Hi i just bought this phone about 3 weeks ago in malaysia after that i got 2 time upgrade my device..
What i like from this superb phone is :
1. Nice design
2. Not pricey compare to the specs that we get
3. Good 23mp camera , but i think asus zenfone 3 ze552kl model that i have is better perform although less megapixel (16mp)
4. Good batery life
What i dont like :
- front camera (for me this model have not good quality images ) not because of the megapixel, but the images really turn out not good at all

im in love with the beauty of this device. and i want to keep it good. what screen protector (sp) do u recommend for xperia xa1? is there any sp that cover the curved edge? kindly, thanks :)

Sam, 04 May 2017Mediatek chipset makes his performance poor...I used it ...... moreHi. You used Mediatek Helio P20? Don't think so. Do not compare P10 with P20, completely different products... Do not compare old Mediatek chips with this one. P20 is a modern chip, manufactured on 16nm technology and in the same performance class as Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, Exynos 7880 and Kirin 658. The processor itself is as strong as old Snapdragon 810, but it lacks in graphic department (as 810 has 3x better graphic processor). But it is has also at least twice better energy efficiency (longer battery life). Long story short: only real life application that does not run smoothly on P20 is super-demanding game Asphalt 8. Everything else runs perfectly smooth.

the battery life is good (surprisingly, bcs of only 2300mAh). Sony optimizes the battery well on this device. thumbs up to Sony! i managed to get 5h 15m SoT with 33% left at the end of the day. didn't expect this :D

Display is good, loud speaker is very loud, louder than any sony devices to date, but mono
Performance should be typical sony, no lag

-how about the quality for camera,front and back,does it has manual control and a slow mo mode?.
-how about battery?.one day lasting under moderate usage is ok for me,charging time?,
-how about screen,does it good enough?,and the speaker volume and quality(include with headphone)?
-how about performance?smooth no lag? And does it heat up easily?
-the build? Does it also have metal frame like previous xa or other else

I own white version, type G3121, single-SIM version. Beautiful phone! Beautifully designed, samsung A5 2015 looks like a girlish phone next to this Xperia. Best phone under 300EUR/USD on my opinion!!! I got mine for 250 EUR and it is best phone for this price. Do not fear screen resolution: screen is marvelous, one can not tell difference from full HD. Do not fear small battery!!! It has an above average stamina because of the superb processor: P20 chipset is just fantastic. It matches snapdragon 625, in some areas even surpasses S625. My previous phone was HTC M9. When compared to XA1, M9 is worst in every aspect but loudspeakers. M9 has just best dual loudspeakers out there (XA1 has a mono speaker). Also battery life is better with XA1 (2300 mAh) then with M9 (2840 mAh). Sony nailed it with this phone.
