Sony Xperia XA1 Plus lands in the UK for £329.99

Sony's Xperia XA1 Plus got announced at IFA at the end of August, and now it's finally time for it to reach the UK. The phone is being exclusively offered by Carphone Warehouse. It's available today for £329.99 SIM-free and unlocked.

Although this retailer usually also sells handsets with operator contracts, the XA1 Plus is only up for grabs without such a commitment for the time being. Compared to the XA1 launched in April, the Plus model comes with a bigger screen, bigger battery, a fingerprint scanner, better audio, an extra GB of RAM, and a dual-SIM slot.

The new device keeps the old one's 23 MP Exmor RS rear camera, the 8 MP selfie shooter, octa-core processor, USB Type-C charging, and microSD card slot for going beyond the included 32GB of storage. Obviously though with all these upgrades, the XA1 Plus is also more expensive than the XA1 was.
