Sony Xperia XA3 renders show dual camera on the back, 3.5mm jack on top

As great as the Xperia XZ3 is, there are a couple of things about it we don’t love. Surprisingly, the mid-range Sony Xperia XA3 may bring those things that we were missing as you can see in these CAD-based renders.

There’s a dual camera on the back, for starters. There are no details on the hardware hiding behind those two lenses though. The other thing is the 3.5mm headphone jack, which lives on the top.

And check out that side-mounted fingerprint reader. It seemed that Sony had abandoned this setup as all three XA2 models have a reader on the back, XZ3 too.

Also, there are now two grilles flanking the USB-C port on the bottom whereas the XA2 phones had only one. What are the chances Sony’s XA-series is getting stereo speakers?

The Xperia XA3 will measure 155.7 x 68.3 x 8.4mm (8.9mm if you account for the camera hump). It will have a 5.9” screen with 1,080 x 2,160px resolution (18:9), a fraction smaller than the one on the XA2 Plus. The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB of RAM.
