My XZ is currently annoying. Got messed up with latest March update. It's gets too hot just for web browsing and very slow performance. Had to permanently turn of stamina mode to get better performance.
This is the worst condition I've seen this phone. I'm actually vexed. For the 1st time since Z1/E3, I'm considering another brand.

🗣️The problem is whenever u play hd games/3d apps PUBG, nfsnolimit or just using facebook app, phone going shutter/lag like crazy because sony limit/throttled CPU to prevent heating 800mhz(4core), and forced to very low graphic even u have sd820 lol.
🗣️ camera= if u live hot 🔥 country like me, singapore, malaysia, indonesia, india. Can only using camera 3-6 minute before shutdown itself.
🗣️ speaker very low compare to xz premium.
🗣️ unless u have root, disable that stupid sony thermal heating on camera and CPU, set cpu to 1. 2 ghz minimum and 1.5ghz maximum. There u have the real flagship phone.

Can any user of XZ tell whether this model has the feature of "Noise Suppression", which is otherwise available in Xperia's other models viz T2Ultra, M2 etc..
The listener complains, that there is too much sound/noise is distorting the speakers voice, when the speaker is in a busy environment like marketplace.

Guys should i buy the Xperia Xz in 2018?
I am currently using the Xperia Z3 and i starting to feel that the lack of Fingerprint scanner
Plus my storage is full and the battery start to weaken
I checked for a used Xperia Xz and It is $245 and the Xz Premium is $410 used.
Which should i choose?

Is XZ a waterproof or not? Specification says that this a dust/water proof 1.5m, 30mins and there is no cover on the head/ear phone and the chraging port.

It is still worth it, considering how cheap it should be currently, for me I will still choose the XPERIA XZ over the XPERIA XA2. Comparing the two, almost everything is better in the XPERIA XZ, but XPERIA XA2 have some advantages too; lesser bezels, the same 23MP rear camera but with a slightly better camera software, and also battery. If u aren't satisfied with both of them, u can choose XPERIA XA2's bigger brother, the XPERIA XA2 ULTRA. To be honest, it have a better design than its little brother, with a much bigger screen than the two, more memory, dual selfie cameras, and yes, a much bigger battery. But, u will have to think about the price if u were to choose the XPERIA XA2 ULTRA over the XPERIA XZ, since it is still a new mid-end flagship, the price isn't as cheap as the XPERIA XZ, which is a 2016 high-end flagship...

Xz is a flagship waterproof, high performance etc, but i am thinking of picking the xa2 for the upcoming reasons.
Speakers, yes the xz has dual front facing speakers but with average loudness, in calls such as video calls only the bottom speaker works and the volume isn't that much, it is more like for gaming and watching videos, while the xa2 has bottom firing speaker with a very good loudness better for calls.
Battery, the xz has a very good battery life but the xa2 has excellent battery life.
Selfy camera, the xz has a massive 13mp selfy with amazing quality but the xa2 has super wide angle 120 degrees.
Primary camera isn't my concern, xz is definitely better but i need just a good camera.
Xa2 will get Android P xz mostly not.
Xa2 is more compact but thicker "thickness is not my concern"
