After one week of useing the xz i can say this phone has an amzing batterylife i dont regrat a moment of buying this phone specially the forest blue one which i bourgth and i have also the black one as a backup phone this one is alot better then the x performance i saw videos on you tube where they compaire it against s7 edge htc 10 and other flagships and the xz beats them all in performance its a device that is essay the recomend to anyone who likes sony phones

The camera samples speak for themselves. You are free to compare them with other smartphone samples. No rocket science! By the way, coming back to reviews here's what GSMA thinks about its camera capabilities:
"Time and time again, though, we can't get truly excited about a Sony camera. It may be equipped with every imaginable engineering breakthrough Sony could come up with, yet you'd be able to find more pleasing images if you look elsewhere. Try not to get us wrong on this one - it's not a bad camera, it's just not the best camera, and it still beats us why Sony, of all makers, can't make it the one.
Detailed 23MP images from the primary camera, suffering from noise and noise reduction. Good dynamic range and colors in good lighting, uninspiring performance when light levels drop. All the extra engineering (laser autofocus, white balance sensor) leads to little perceptible improvement in image quality and shooting experience."

They are dumping the same shitty post-processing algo on all smartphones that the make. Now that's the real fact!! If you don't believe compare XZ samples side-by-side with other smartphone camera samples from GSMA's review section. Talk with proof!

What's wrong with your stills algorithm sony?!! Over sharpened / un-natural images, especially when viewed at 1:1!! I have been experiencing the same ever since the Z3C. Other companies have been successful at producing great photos from your same sensors through optimized algorithms but not you! That way, I am not expecting DxO more than 75! Honor 8 on the other hand produces way better images - with way too few noise and no over sharpening!
Afterall when will you fix your damn algo when???!!! Now I'm seriously thinking about canceling my XZ order after seeing the camera samples on GSMA! Very very disappointed by the camera samples!!
Really, whoever says the XZ has got a "great" camera is a dumb or a blind! Sorry, but I totally hate Sony for their smartphone cameras!

This looks like perfect phone. I would only add 1GB of RAM (just for spec wars, not that anyone need it) and 300mAh bigger battery so that it has 3200 or 3300... Then it would be a perfect phone..

I think Xperia xz is a wonderful smartphone but its photography and multitasking can be improved. Hope the next Xperia will be better.
