[deleted post]Actually, I too am getting a new phone. Currently a HTC One m7 user. It has served me well and is starting to show its age now. So wanted to try something new.
Samsung S7 edge and this Xperia XZ were the options I was considering.
Rather than reviews I have found forum like these actually are much better to judge a phone. So, coming to the point - the Samsung S7 forum is filled with issues - So its disheartening to actually buy something which people are already facing, specially for the price these devices command. I have found the Xperia forum to be quite good with very few issues reported. Just my two cents.

Obviously samsung has NO quality BUT good marketing
Moreover..there are 31 sperate kinds of S7 and S7 edge with different suppliers of different quality component.......
This is nightmare for samsung customers...for example S7 and s7 edgefail to manage oculus new VR apps despite s7 edge and s7 have 4g Ram and make BIG advertise in VR section

Forget about the XZ, even the X with a mediocre chipset of snapdragon 650 beats the crap out of iPhone 7, S7 and other flagships out there. Overall Sony phones are far more reliable than any other brands, tried and tested, Z, Z2, Z3, Z5 and now the X.

[deleted post]Better choices? Lol. Your favorite Samsung will lag and overheat after few months dude. Like my uncle's S7 Edge. But my Sony Xperia Z3 which is two years old never lag because of well optimized software unlike TouchWiz.

Keep in mind s7 has heatgate and bombgate issue with low quality fragile glass phone with 12mp low grade camera.....
XZ is KING of phone with super built quality and great camera and stunning performance and long supporting..and reliable battery care and tech Like Qnovo and amazing stereo sound and whopping web browsing experiences

- subpar camera? Samsung's cameras are always overrated, they pay reviewers for that. In reality, S7 doesn't have such a great camera. See how it compares to the Xperia X. XZ further improves things ;)

The main problem about thia phone is its pruce , i'm using xperia c4 dual which cost me 485 dollars which is unacceptable , the battett of my phone is good , 5 hrs of screen ontime on 0% brightnees , so the battery with be good for xz as my phone has a 2600mAh battery

Second worst battery and endurance after the g5 , at least the g5 has a much better camera lol, they ain't coming back with this one, maybe the zx next year or the az idk who the genius behind naming is but I am pretty sure it will also be the best camera phone in the world , if u know nothing about cameras hahah

[deleted post]Well, seeing my phone batterylife halfed after 2.5 years, Id say this ones got sth amazing of a battery, even if not bragging rights to begin with but good.
Imagine that same endurance even after 2 years of usage.
