A little disappointed in this device, few things that it lacks...
1. Thinner..atleast 7.5 mm
2. 4GB RAM
3. OIS in rear and front camera (and a flash for front).
4. Thinner bezels.... the side bezels are way too big and the top and bottom bezels are usually bigger, so they should have done their homework.
5. QHD AMOLED display(debatable)
6. Bigger battery atleast 3000mah...(u know what they did to Xperia X and performance)
7. More powerful and better stereo speakers.
8. More color options would have been nice.
9.And at last but not the least keep the pricing right.

Well I really like the XZ specially the platinum one, it's simply gorgeous but right now I'm enjoying my X which is also an awesome phone from my favorite brand Sony.

2700mah= 61 endurance rating
2900mah=???
2900x61 / 2700 = 65.51.... endurance rating :)

although sony is a master in photography and gaming , their battrry always sucks from the x series. i still remember the 3200 mah battery on z2 . what are you doing by increasing the thickness if the battery is getting small.
still i will wait for endurance rating and then only insult you

I recently bought a Moto X Style. Great phone, but I do have a soft spot for Sony. Would it be worth trading it for the Sony Xperia XZ or is there no appreciable difference?

and i hope this phone will not be... moreall sonys get hot dude its just something that happens with them its not the end of the world considering they are waterproof you can just cool it down in water in seconds
battery I agree with you atmo hasn't been the best if you read the review you will see that's what they have focused on the most
