You'll be surprised of the amount of long time iPhone users that switched to S8 and are so happy with the experience. Samsung phones have no issues. Those issues you mention if ever they exist affect only 1 percent of all retail units.

The S7 and XZ have practically the same display size. 0.1" hardly make any noticeable difference. But if you compare these two phones side-by-side, one is SIGNIFICANTLY larger than the other. The XZ is closer to the S7 edge in dimensions than to the S7. The XZ is a much larger phone than the S7 despite having similar screen size which is even worsened by its sharp edges. The S7 looks smaller and feels much more comfortable in the hand because of the rounded corners, thin side bezels and chamfered back edges. The S7 is designed better for one-handed use. The XZ body could easily fit a 5.5" screen. Go use and compare both of them side-by-side in a store.
And also, everything looks larger on the S7 5.1" display than on the XZ 5.2" display because the S7 displays every content full screen. The XZ has annoying on-screen nav keys that take space at the bottom of the display.

XZ is good as a backup phone but as a daily driver, no.

And more sales doesn't mean better, for example Toyota are the most selling cars but they are no near from Mercedes or Jaguars.
Samsung is just about marketing.

The S8 has sold 3 million units already in just less than a month. Long time iPhone users have switched to the S8 and are attesting it's the best smartphone they've ever used. It takes Samsung to release a S8 for them to switch to Android. Now what do you think that says about CURRENT Samsung Galaxy software and performance? You're still clinging to your old 2014 Touchwiz myths.

I am experiencing some issues & bugs on my XZ mainly:
1. Bluetooth turns on after turning off Airplane Mode
2. Screen turns hazy or whitish (when on a dark theme) all of a sudden
3. Some notifications are still getting through (popping out from the top screen) even when i turned them off under Settings
4. NFC tag seem very fragile and I fear it might come off anytime especially when you put it in your pocket everyday.
5. Screen on time seems just over 5 hours; Bought the thing 48 hours ago. is that a good number?
Any comments & advice please. Cheers.

One more reason to choose the S7 over the XZ is the screen real estate. The XZ has a slightly larger display than the S7 (5.2 vs. 5.1) but if you look at them side by side, the S7 makes better use of its screen real state than the XZ. Every content appears smaller on the XZ screen because of the on-screen navigation keys occupying the bottom of the screen. The S7 has capacitive back/recents buttons and a physical home key so they don't use precious screen space and everything on the S7 screen appears fullscreen. There are no wasted space both on the screen and body of the S7. No worthless big bezels and no on-screen keys. On-screen keys are only ideal for large-screened phones, not for phone screens smaller than 5.5 inches.

No,u cant sell it to anyone because every othet brand has better performance.

T... moreHere we go again, you seem to be too obsessed with your S7, like I mentioned in my comment I really don't like bashing other brands unlike you. It's good that you're happy with your S7 but that doesn't mean that you should misguide people about the XZ, I'm using it for over two months and I'm extremely happy with it. So let us put it this way, you stay happy with your S7 and let others decide which phone they need according to their preferences.

The XZ is not a bad phone at all but the S7 is just vastly superior to the XZ. It's the best smartphone of 2016. It's an objective fact backed by many tech review sites and consumer reviews.

The XZ is not really comparable at all to the S7 edge. It has smaller screen, lower resolution, smaller battery, less RAM and slower internal storage than the S7 edge. Even it's not comparable to the S7 for the same reasons except the screen one. XZ is more like on the same level as the S6 not the S7.

I have the xz and its one of the best though not perfect but its fulfilled my needs so no regret. Battery life is better in xz though after 6 months of used(my best friend has s7) . Please get the fact not the fanboy ego.

It's badly coded and unoptimized 3rd-party apps that do. A core OS feature is miles better and optimized than any 3rd-party app. You won't find better 3rd-party equivalents for most Samsung Touchwiz features. You will only have these features when Google adopts them in stock Android after a couple of years.
