Got to laugh at Sony using fancy useless names….
Triluminos display only means a LCD display
X-Reality Engine means nothing
Exmor RS image sensor is just a fancy frilly name
ALKALEIDO alloy is actually a trademark name belonging to the Japanese steel manufacturer Kobe Steel. And it’s just a regular type of aluminium alloy.

Just google ... moreYou don't own a S7 or i7. I recently sold my crappy Z5 which overheated easily during high video recording and shut down. A friends XZ has the same overheating problem.
Recently, I bought a S7, which runs continously under max video settings without any problems. Sure, it gets warmer, but no overheating warning popups or shutdowns.
So, my comments are actual facts from owners. I could easily find 10 times as many FB videos to disprove you again and again.
It is really you who has to do some research. Save your money, and then maybe you could upgrade from you ancient Z1.

Just google S7 overheat shutdown, then IP7 overheat shutdown...
And finally XZ overheat shutdown....
You ll be quite surprised with the results.
XZ is indeed an amazing device.

Sony has thermal heating problems with its designs and thats why they can shut down during high resolution video. Samsung and Iphone don't get as hot, therefore don't have these problems.
Do some research first, as you only are embarrassing youself with senseless and unknowledgeable comments.

What r you talking about?
They heatup under SoC strain just like any other flag out there.
And camera app forecloses after some time of recording higher res video exactly to prevent overheating.

Hi,
I've been using this phone for more than 2 months.
My Review -
+Amazing Display with natural colours.
+UI Design looks better than the z5s ,LOVE the nougat update!
+Low light is good and blur free pics.
+Waterproof helped me take calls and listen music while in the shower
-Because its made of metal ,It slips most of the time from my hand ,hence scratches and my phone upper uni-body came off (And no i coudnt find any case for this phone untill today this month)
-Speakers are too low I EXPECTED MORE SOUND(Made for acoustic music)
-Overheats ,not just laggy software but the back part got bended a little bit,its kinda rocking on a flat surface.
SONY ,hopefully u take my opinion ,Thats how u make phones better right? (Communtiy rights)

I wonder if Sony engineers actually use Xperia phones. I bet all these people use iPhones as they're so oblivious to the flaws and bugs of their own products. They do not care to rectify and perfect them
