Bigger aperture with red tint on samsung makes.it look good but it tur.s the color.worse.

Anonymous, 25 Dec 2017you are just another fanboy of lagsungTheir os is much smoother on s8 and the newer phones, if you see on speed test, sony just 0.2 seconds faster than samsung and it bcause their faster animation but boring and samsung has slower animation but still smooth

AnonD-481725, 24 Dec 2017No i didn't get it, but watch these video comparisons then ... moreThat because it use manual mode on sony xz1. the auto mode doesnt great like that. while on the comparison, maybe bcuz xz1 has brighter picture than note8, while the note8 was true to life contrast like balanced lighting and better colour rendition. btw xz1 doesnt far behind.

Samsung and Apple will imitate what Sony did like 3D scanning, super slow motion and it was predictable features would come that most technologician think from the past. It just because Samsung and Apple doesn't do that yet. And look at S Pen on Note series. Does Sony and Apple could imitate that? Think about it if Sony and Apple imitate that feature. People will say 'Sony and Apple wants to be like Samsung'. That was unpredictable feature cause no other brands could even think about it. See? You can't insult other brand with the glorious Sony features that any other brands doesn't have. Even both Sony and Samsung follows Apple to have fingerprint sensor, Apple and Samsung follows Sony to have IP rating. Maybe, Apple and Sony doesn't imitate anything from Samsung, but I think the S Pen is one of the most outstanding feature yet. It's not necessary at all, but could be useful.

Why wouldnt he glorify Sonys camera, especially being a... moreHe said recently that "Yeah Sony made stacked DRAM camera sensor and now Samsung wants to imitate it!" maybe sounds like that. Looks on camera shots. I have an S7 and compared with XZs, S7 is far better than XZs. The only advantages on XZs over the S7 is it has natural colours but most of people doesn't minded at all on colour saturation, people satisfied details, lower noise and good dynamic range. I'm not speaking behalf of Samsung fanboy, because I know my iPhone 8 Plus just knocked down both of them. See? I never see on Apple or Samsung section said "Apple just beating Samsung and Sony" or "Samsung just beating Apple or Sony", while both of it just speaking about how their phone running smoothly and less negativity. On Sony section, more than a half of people talking about negativity, plus some of the Sony fanboy claimed "Sony is the best, killing all the iPhones and laggy Galaxies", "3D scanning is the future!", thus make it worser. Is this the best way to stop negativity here? Glorifying is the better way?

I dont get you Samsung fans...
You can easily go to Samsung threads and glorify samsungs cameras there for your peace of mind...
Btw, IMO theres nothing to beat in samsungs camera, maybe the Pixels one...samsungs one is nothing to write home about, except lowlight automode detail...
Sonys camera beats samsungs in special features, its just your own opinion those features are nothing to be used, YT is full of people using and recording features of super slo mo and 3d scanner, them find it great feats. ..
On the other hand also, most people dont care in elaborating cameras photo quality by pixelpeeping lowlight automode shots, but the look of the overall shot, which is also indeed great on Sonys camera.
So please, stop glorifying samsungs camera here on a Sony thread, as there is nothing special about it at all....
There are better automode cameras out there...
And IMO there is no better camera in extra features than Sonys out there...
