Anonymous, 28 Oct 2017Well before you called me a Sony fanboy lets clear it again... more1. Samsung S8, S8+, note8 comes with 1 year free screen replacement for 1 time(either front glass or back glass)
2. All phones are prone to cracking glass when drop. Don't blame samsung. Just blame your clumsy hand. Sony XZ/XZs/XZ1 front glass are also easily cracked when dropped at the corner(sharp angles = 10x more prone to breaking front glass). Watch youtube drop tests. 1 drop at corner and boom. For me, I've used more than 15 phones(iphone, samsung, sony, htc) and I dropped them sometimes but I never crack my phone screen(my advice here is use your phone with cover)
3. I don't hurt. I am not samsung's CEO. You can buy whatever phone you want.

I have been using the Sony XZ1 for a month now.What a brilliant phone. Amazing build quality,camera and comfortable to use with one hand. So what if it has bezels. Phones are meant to be used not looked at.Having used Sony and other phones I found the Sony phones age much better than some other phones. They are really a quality build and very user friendly. A quick search on the internet will show that in back to back speed tests against the Samsung note 8 with 6 meg ram opposed to the Sony 4 the Sony is still the faster phone.
So to sum in up the following.Amazing front camera and 13 megapixel selfie cam,quality sound and voice,very comfortable to hold,battery lasts more than a day,very vivid screen and super fast response time even in multiple apps.
XZ1 is the phone to have right now .

I used xz for one year and really loves it because never give my weak heart an attack bcoz of clumsy hands, smooth as new born, never lag, never factory reset. But I want a better camera and selling it and using other brand and regret it.
It's a paradox for me. Now bezel is fine, for thumb rest. And funny now I really miss sony sharp edge, something that I hate before. It make the phone never slides and drop no matter how many sweats. Handling and jumping to take photo is such an easy thing even for my 4 yo daughter.
So, after contemplating so many times, and after reading so many good comments about this device, thanks guys, I planning to buy xz1 now.

Low end I used to gave it to my sibling and I try almost all brand even Chinese too. But I never try iphone ever so you won't see my comment there not even 1. And my last Samsung phone was s6 its very good phone but it slips from my hand and it glass break easily and the service center charge it for 19k here in india. I'm also planning to buy xa1 plus because Sony battery is good.htc 10 is also sturdy,classy.
I think what hurt you the most is when I said I choose the xz1 over s8. That's why you called me Sony fanboy. Sony didn't give me even one mobile for free why will I waste my time if I didn't own one.

Do you understand or read again properly I'm not any brand fanboy I have xz1 and if it good for me then i'll say it's good only. I have htc 10 and its also very good but yes I don't have s8 because I don't find its better than xz1. Do you have any problem with that?
I can ask you a question if you don't have xz1 then how come you are giving your opinion while we the owner of it cannot??

I said its suit my needs it has everything a flagship offer I like it more than s8 . I praise a thing which I used I didn't said bad about s8 as I didn't own it . A good thing deserve credit is my opinion.

[deleted post]I will never understand how can people fall so low just because they hate a brand. Xz1 is good I am having it and I choose it over remote s8 and I think I made a best decision.it fast,classy, sturdy, battery life is ok what else do you want. Bezelless is not so important to me I want a mobile which last longer, stand against fall etc and Sony fits my need better.
