He is a immature fanboy that keeps repeating saying SAMSUNG is better in all aspects, this is better than Sony that is better than Sony. Yes, indeed, SAMSUNG is clearly better than Sony, everyone knows it, since it is the best in the world, but can't he just accept the fact that other people like other smartphones that are not SAMSUNG? Really even for fanboys like me who buy Sony smartphones don't go to the SAMSUNG smartphone "territory" and bash on those people who like SAMSUNG. I will just be fine and just read the comments there and agree to them, I don't bash on them like "SONY IS BETTER THAN SAMSUNG IN EVERY ASPECT" Everyone have their own brand they like, and no one can stop them, just like mischa, mischa is a fan of SAMSUNG. But if someone like mischa keeps repeating SAMSUNG is better than Sony in every aspect, storage type, camera, performance, future-proofing, then I will say that that person aka mischa is really immature, he just can't accept the fact that other people like a smartphone brand that is not SAMSUNG

AnonD-27765, 27 Oct 2017Being about just as fast as a higher-specced device is not ... moreYes, larger native 570ppi on Note8 of course will blown away XZP 1080p (4K only show up on supported app/movie), but Note8 price also almost twice from XZP ( at least in my country Indonesia, Note8 12,8M IDR vs XZP 7,4M IDR ).
i had watch youtube before about 3D test on Note8 vs XZP. XZP with adreno540 blown away Note8.
i don't like those 18:9 ratio on note8 & edge,
but i too don't like those same old design on XZP/XZ1 ( i used to had Z3C,Z5 ) but better feeling when hold Z5 compare to my wife S7.
camera ? Sony software is still not good, lowlight is a no go. samsung is the winner, but sometime unnatural colors (over vivids ?).
if u ask me what to choose, then i choose XZ1/XZP just because it's a lot cheaper ^_^. i can live with those old design dan screen.

The Note 8 has way better screen, better design, more modern, elegant and polished UI, more cool and useful features which are all big reasons to stan for it.

no name, 27 Oct 2017Agree that Sony is great!,But being great dosent mean best!... more1. Value: market or online store seller dependent, but comparing the biggest two: Sony XZ Premium and Samsung Note8, the XZ Premium is cheaper.
2. Performance: no doubt Sony is more stable, faster, smoother with a light UI or you can say skinned stock android, not a heavily customized UI.
For the Basemark OS II score that measures the overall performance, Sony's XZ Premium is the first to cross 4000 points with 4127, while Samung S8+ is the highest in Samsung with 3401 only, these numbers may vary within a certain range so you can test your phone by downloading the app from Google Play Store.
3. Specs: the main specs are kinda common, except for the Exynos versions of Samsung's trio which have a better GPU, and as for the cameras each has its own strength points, and the Note8 can be a winner here.
Samsung's note8 has 6 GB of RAM which may help more in multi-tasking, but actually Sony did not need more than 4 GB for a beastly performance.
4. For the design, unusual aspect ratios of displays are not very useful except when you're reading a long document or text file, but when viewing photos and videos, mostly they are in 4:3 or 16:9 ratio. Sony's build is much stronger and more durable, and I did try it.
If a bezelless screen phone falls down, the screen is more subjected to breaking, unless you put a screen protector and a shock resistant cover, but a normally designed phone can withstand the shocks more and the screen has more chances to be safe.
With respect to all flagships, as I tried most of them, Sony's trio tops the list in terms of value, performance (check the XZ1 Compact's review for the last comment in the performance page, stating that it's the fastest and smoothest phone that the GSM Arena team tested), practical design, and best use of the available specs to output the best performance.

Sony's camera software is below par when compare with rivals. Especially sucks at low light situations and when zooming. I admit that as a xperia xzs owner.

Sony got some chips for XZ Premium presentations, but in the end they had to wait till may for full production due to Samsungs blackmail crap...
I doubt qualcomm will make the same mistake this year, there is obviously a good reason why they ditched Samsungs craptown.
Fortunately Sony is also done ordering any tech made by Samsung, at least japanese just despise that kind of foul buissness.
