Sony should focus more on premium devices and release a successor to XZ premium. They really really really need to focus on customization UI because their ugly white UI is problem for 3 years with no night mode or dark theme function. I own a Xperia Z3 and I'm think of selling it for mid range Snapdragon phone so I can install lineage OS and substratum. Eyesight is more valuable than a Sony flagship or premium phone with no night mode or dark theme support.

Well i love sony, i have ps1 to p4 and sony bravia tv.
The only thing i love but still hate is sony phone.
Always drain battery fast and DEFUK SONY why u make big forehead bazel but navigation menu still on screen. What a waste of space. And price like shiiii expensive. I dont know who design this. But as artist who doing art duh, this is really sad. Sorry for my manners, just sharing opinion : )

This thing is ridiculously super fast. You know what, I went for XZ1 over iphone 7.

He is happy with it. Big bezels are down market. The writing is on the walls. The quicker brands understand this the better. Even Oneplus is releasing 5T with full vision display. Why should I pay money to look at the thick bezels?? For that I can look at the back of the phone..lol. Bezels should be as minimum as possible. This makes the size of the phone manageable also.

i believe there should be one specific team doing innovation in Sony phone and their research center sits underwater deep inside the ocean which makes sony unknown with the innovation happening in the real world, such a lethargic innovation makes me feel that wish i couldn't be in this part of the world.

The 2700 mAh in the XZ1 has 82h of endurance rating, which is considered high, while other phones with similar flagship specs and higher capacity batteries have a smaller endurance rating

Makes best shots for printout and bigscreen viewing, and social media sharing too, due to high mpx preserved.
In video it is unparallel with best stabilisation, great noise cancelling stereo sound recording, and superb extra features like 960 fps slow motion and now even 3d modeling for real object printing and AR/gaming avatars.
Selfie camera is the best too, makes great shots and is also unparalleled in video recording due to best stabilisation.
There are loads of compares all over web and ytube for interested parties to look at.
So yeah, I d say pixellpeeping lowlight automode shots and making overall conlusions based just on that...is ridiculous.
But some people find that more than enough.
As if cameras are made just to point and shoot photos in cave dwellings, and then used just to crop in to look at pixels...
Which is...ridiculous.
But, its the way of most camera testing today I guess. A shame tho.

Its funny that xz1 is very poor in this category if its manufacturer produce the camera module used in other phone that they said excel in this category, its maybe just trolling and made up.
