sdfs, 08 Oct 2017The big bezels, low audio volume, poor night camera quality... moreI guess you dont have the xz1 otherwise you would not say that i just got my xz1 yesterday and i testet the loudspeaker and it is more then loud enoung also with headphones attached and it is so loud then it can destroy you ears and i got it delievert with WH-H900N and that is a fantastic headset and i use only 65 % og the volume and this was loud enoung so you can try it by you self and then answere before posting your opinion here

I love the way sony is making phones these days . After xperia x I have seen some real efforts by the company to make some good phones . X compact was the best phone I have seen in years . Perfect phone in the hand. It fits like a glove. Though maybe not flagship but still amazing. And xz had an amazing camera . Good job sony .

But the hardware for mechanical motion of lenses buts a strain on your battery backup and also adds to the weight of the device.
EIS has become quite popular these days because of they are light and less expensive and with improvement in algorithms used for stabilization image degradation is minimal. But at low resolutions and in poor lighting conditions, you might see significant degradation.
With consumer electronic devices which don’t have a very high resolution , like your Smartphone’s or low resolution Camcorders, OIS is more effective technique and also out performs EIS in dimly lit areas.

The big bezels, low audio volume, poor night camera quality, low loud speaker. This has been the same problems for the past 5 years!!! Sony engineers are so stupid. If they fix this, their phone will sell. I will buy!!!!

AnonD-706286, 07 Oct 2017OIS or EIS , Which one is better ?EIS is much better than OIS since most of the companies who used OIS first had a very weak video image stabilization so they later directly jumped into EIS additional to the OIS so they made things much better, the OIS has good role for taking pictures especially in low if you don't have steady hands, however the EIS has no role in this regard.

If only Sony could adapt the technology "acoustic surface" from ae1 TV to an Xperia phone and jump on the bezel-less display bandwagon, that is definitely a worth buy.
