Xperia keyboard has that option....
Just download and install the. apk to your phone, even tho playstore says its not supported on newer Xperia devices, it is....works like a charm.

Same design - same scree... moreActually, the point is....
Build is unimetal now, screen is hdr now, ram is 4 gb now, memory is ufs 2.1 now, speakers are much louder now, 3d Creator is the new WoW software feature, along with sd835 and with couple of new camera features such as 960fps recording...
Its a decent upgrade, except the battery size tho, remains to be seen how that turns out in real life tests...

What is the point here SONY ?!!!
Same design - same screen resolution - same RAM - same storage - No special software features etc...
Really, someone tell me what is the big different between this device and my XZ ?!

But app downloadable 3d models should do the trick for more complex stuff...download, send to 3d printer...done.
This is good usefull stuff Sony introduced in XZ1.

While lowlight automode perf is debatable, daylight and video is not...they most certainly outshine others in that areas...
But to say they are doing nothing on camera department is just not true... Since X series they introduced 5axis stabilisation and 960 fps capture in a smartphone, 60fps fhd recording, significantly enhanced the camera lowlight performance and camera manual mode, introduced predictive capture and fastest triple hybrid autofocus....
Now they introduced 3d modeling feature and burst autofocus....
Those are all camera functionality enhancements.

Not like just adding an extra dual camera nonsens, just to pomote sth a phone can do even without it, like bokeh, selective focus, or monochrome photo....
And I believe It will also be possible to download more complex 3d models for printing too...
And of course, making your personal Avatars for your favourite PlayStation games is a possibility too...

I mean, my X Performance has the same for a 5 inch screen, and it is quite enough for getting me through the day, 6 to 7 hr SoT, but if I use all feats and connections activec it drops to 4 hr SoT....
But then again, so do other flagships with bigger batteries because of bigger screens....
Dont know, maybe Oreo and sd835 combined make wonders for battery, but there is just no getting around screen consumption, alas Screen on Time....which is one and true battery life durability test.
And it ll be as my X Perform I guess.
But they should increase, not stale it for the sake of design.

xz1 and xz1 compact also supports both ldac and aptx hd, ( bluetooth 5.0 not confirmed yet), that's means it's a great phone for wireless audio, the sealed loop design is a good improvement, but to some people, who like the IN thing, minimal bezel won't like the design ( which a lot company are following the bandwagon), to me, small bezel don't do anything for me

The xz1 and xz1 compact does have a unique niche feature, 3d scanning for 3d print, 3d avatars, 3d scanned message, quite interesting, just like their XZs and XZ premium new feature 960fps super slow motion

Battery is the biggest problem for me right now. Everything looks good except bezels and battery. Still a better choice than any other android for me.

thought i was getting this phone soon, but wat, no jump from xzp. lame. its six months a better phone coming. i have money i dont care. but this one wow even with money ill skip
