It's 587mAh of battery life for every inch of screen. 2700mAh battery with a 4.6' display.
The S8 is 517mAh per inch.

Only thing I miss is the FM radio. Why do phone manufactorers remove that nowadays - IP streaming of radio is not an option everywhere, and consumes a lot more battery power and bandwidth.

I bought an HTC U11 thinking Sony had given up on selling top of the line compact flagships after the Z5 compact.
Wish it came in black, but it looks like Sony made a small monster of a phone here so it's cool. I now have some buyers remorse thanks to this, but it's very good to see Sony hasn't given op on the high end sub 5 inch phone market.

I used to have the Sony SP. I now have a Xperia X. Which is great phone. But its too big. I should have purchased the x compact. My next phone will be a compact.

some people want suv, some people want limousine, some want a sedan, some want a small compact car, a coupe at the very least. same thing with phone, not all of us want suv or limousine size for their phone. is this something really hard to understand? it's like saying if it's not suv or limousine size then it's a shit car. very nice logic. i wonder why all these car manufacturers not just producing suv or limousine
