Does not mi... morebecause of people like him, manufacturers keep producing retarded phone every year and always getting more retard each year. do they really expect people watching series/movie on smartphone, really? people have this great media streaming service like netflix,and the only device they have on their mind to watch all those great contents are smartphone not even a tablet. therefore. bigger screen,better image quality,less bezel. 4.5inches too small. it is to consume media,but i want a phone. if 10 inches tablet very practical and comfort to use for phone call, i don't need smartphone

The reviewer is too hung up on the screen size. Does not miss any opportunity to criticize the screen like "the resolution is pretty low compared to the competion". Except the only competition is iPhone which has the same screen resoltion & ppi.
Also "users woud want bigger screen real estste to use the flagship specs". Well then they can buy the XZ1 or XZPremium, cant they? Seems like the guy does not understand the point of compact flagship at all.

Damn!! SD 835 on a 720p screen!!! It's probably the only android phone capable of running Minecraft with HD textures+shaders at a constant 60FPS.
To those who've never played Minecraft, yes, this game is very resource consuming - probably the most resource consuming one in the playstore.

I had a Z1 compact, now have a Z5 Compact, and both worked ok.
But I think a design change would be needed (fitting a bigger screen, narrowing the bezels).

You have waterproof at ip rating 68,dual stereo speakers that are 50% more louder than xz and x compact(clarity very good cuz i already tried it,i would choose clarity than louder speakers with distortion sounds), it has better stabilisation in video recording than the others(should watch the reviews in youtube), have durable design) , big battery(2700 mah considered large in this size, close to double ip7's battery life), audia enhancements(dseex, 24bit and more),has ips x-reality engine and triluminus display(high quality ips screen and more natural looks and don't have issue about burn-in), has wide selfie camera, top-notch chipset(it scored 60fps during the benchmark and even beat ip7), smooth experience and gaming with lag-free and will get 2 years or more updates from sony. I think those things deserve the money.

The SD835 is likely the big player being so much more efficient, and hardly needing to work with whatever I throw at it. The doubled ram also helps with efficiency, my old Z3C was always having to reload apps in the background if I left too many things running.

LOVE this phone! Battery life is amazing!! Got all the apps I need installed, 48hours done and still over 35% left! Love it! Got the phone for 477,-. Money well spend!! Fingerprint scanner is so fast! Very good upgrade coming from a Z3compact

In Sony Site, it is not dual sim. If it is dual sim , it is very good phone

Literally the best phone out there. Perfect size, perfect amount of ram, perfect chipset, unlike last year's x compact, and it also has front facing speakers and a headphone jack. Bezel size is overrated. It's not that big.

Maybe the features are iPhone has a radio, no sd card, no IP67 and more tones of other "No". And last but not least: why you should charge your phone once in 2-3 days as you could charge it 2-3 time in a single day with all these great iphones! Iphones can have price 1200 euro and it's normal for their "lots of features", but the best and only compacts by Sony cannot cost 600 euro.

il sit this one out, as good as this compact phone is im now looking forward to the new bezeless designs sony are gonna be doing, especially the compact. im hoping it has a 4.8" screen but the same size footprint as this compact, give or take a mil or 2. Now that is gonna be awesome if sony gets it right.
