It will be slightly thicker because IT HAS FLAGSHIP specs in a small size and reasonable size battery in it. If you want smaller display all the components still need to be fitted inside the phone. So the only way that can be done is by adding space in thickness. You can actuallt use these with 1 hand unlike the over 5" slabs that look helluva stupid while being talked into.

I think 18:9 ratio might happen when they go small bezel, same size phone but a little over 5" screen diagonal. Wouldn't force a smaller battery that way.

(And no. I'm NOT a sony fan. ^^;) Considering they went G6 style or the S8. how would they fit 2.8k mAh in such a tiny body? be reasonable.

In my opinion, id rather have 720p at that size and save the much more juice in the battery department. More or less ill buy this since mine is 3years old already

The resolution of the XZ1C is said to be HD (720p) and not full HD (1080p).
Better HD for better battery life.
