tine, 28 Jun 2017my z1 compact's battery has gone kaput, it can't be on for ... morehey I've had this issue with my z1 too. the battery's dead. get one from ebay or somewhere reliable. phone will be as good as new once u popped in the new battery. go look for youtube videos on how to diy battery change if u're confident with your hands.

You need to calibrate your battery. It's a normal behavior of any electronic device after some time of use.

but also can be caused by Rom that got recent updates include pre-installed apps,
or by some apps such as Facebook and online games to Ads and crazy using of Internet

my z1 compact's battery has gone kaput, it can't be on for more than a day tops. it suddenly drops and then shuts off, sometimes even goes from like 45% to 0% in seconds. i really really hope this phone is coming because i'll buy it the second it hits the streets, i love my z1 compact and i'm so sad it's slowly dying.
please make an awesome new compact, sony. i'm depending on you.

dudecool, 10 Jun 2017why? just buy the XZ Premium...Pure size, i want a phone with all the whistles and bells etc, but compact.
I've got a 7" tablet.
Please think about the practicality.
I have come across any shirts or trousers that'll fit a premium size phone

if they could build this with an IR blaster it would be my IDEAL phone: powerful, compact, expandable storage. I want a premium flagship phone performance, but I want it to be comfortable in a pocket, not to "only just fit"... and I don't wan tto burn battery on some stupid screen res that I'll never use - I have a 7" tablet for watching media and 1080P is PLENTY for that... 720P is plenty for a 4.6" screen....

XZ Premium is huge, hefty and same specs. I would rather take this more compact phone.

dudecool, 10 Jun 2017why? just buy the XZ Premium...because not everyone wants a smartphone larger than their palm... Compact phones with top HW are market gap and only iPhone SE and previous Xperia Z5 compact are representing this category. the X compact is no more top as it's not water/dust proof etc
