What phone were you using before and how does this compare ?

Indeed the phone is huge in size and a bit more weight than a regular phone(50g heavier) but the performance is far better than any of its companions. I bought it last week and waited for myself to make an opinion before i actually put it to real use and i am impressed by it. Size can be get used to.

Great device, loving its size and unusual design but I might wait for xz3 premium which could be equiped with quad bayer sensor

That phone is for casual users that just want a phone and not a multimedia center like most of those that buy the xz2 with it's 4K hdr screen and 1080 960fps camera which alone are worth around 250 euro.

bigmoe87, 30 Aug 2018I'm seriously trying to find a reason to convince myself th... moreEvery AMOLED phone i had got burn in within a year so LCD is the only option at this point which i haven't tried, it's thicker to better dissipate heat duh and it works plus by dissipating heat better than other phones the processor can work better than on other phones. Have you even used more than 2 phones in your life ?

I love it and I really want to own... moreThere is no similar phone on the market, show me a phone with a 4K HDR display and a 19MP camera with amazing low light performance and high ISO etc. The reason it's so expensive is because it is one of a kind on the current market but the XZ3 pemium should be coming out next year so that's maybe when the price will drop. I am debating whether to buy this also and as of now it's 700 euro which is too much for me but i need a new phone since my old one just broke.

rama31, 11 Oct 2018Does it is waterproof or water resistant?It's water and DUST proof so you can drop it in water and also get it dirty with mud without it probably not getting damaged BUT salt water is corrosive so think of the phone protected against sand from the beach or dust from your home getting in and fresh water so you can use it in the rain no problem, wash it if it's dirty and if you drop it in a puddle which is filled with dirt it will be ok. Just google ip6* protection.

Specifications of XZ2 Premium on GSM Arena say that the MicroSD card of up to 512GB is supported. The official site:

however says that MicroSDXC with up to 400GB is supported.
So, is it possible to use 512GB card? Is there anyone using such a card?

Got mine a week ago, every day since has been full of pleasant discoveries. Its a 'beast' in all aspects important to me. I appreciate a non-invasive stylish UI, battery, sound & video and camera extra features, especially the IO>Memory>CPU>GPU interconnectivity is smooth.
It`s really Premium .!.

I just got mine and it's wonderful. Even the dynamic vibration I thought I wouldn't like is nice lol.
16:9 display with no notch is just what I need.

Yeah, it's a good phone. I love it and I really want to own it in my hand.
However the price of this phone is a bit high if comparing to other Brands for similar Camera Display, Audio, Design Battery & Processor, Specifications ect. (each phone is unique and has it's advantages & Disadvantages; it's better in some points, but other products or brands with similar price have even more better points).
If it's a bit cheaper, I might have owned it since the day it came to the market in my country.
However for this price, I'm still thinking about choosing it or a similar performance phone in lower price.

Combonary, 23 Sep 2018Can you give a basic comparison between your XZ2 Premium an... morepocophone ips display is very sharp and bright. my eyes have too much strain from amoled so i have to stick to ips panels for all my smartphone needs. the pocophone battery life is excellent and it charges very fast too. battery on sony is not that good probably becuase of the 4K display require more energy. camera is acceptable, but the xz2p is better specially in low light. speaker is ok, but doesn't have the stereo setup as the sony so i recommend ear phones. it does have 3.5mm jack unlike sony
the sony is too unwieldy to handle comfortably. it's quite tiring to use because of its weight and overly wide body. for example, i can't even snap a selfie with my right hand because the side of my palm is applying pressure to the shutter button on the side, at that point the controls on the screen disappears for some reason. to get around this i set the timer for 3 seconds then quickly compose the frame before the shutter releases or try to use my left hand

The pocophone has a few network downsides here in the US. The price is extremely good but a few things might make getting the more expensive XZ2 Premium (@$760 vs 340 poco).

I love what Sony is doing with their developer web site, having open ROMs; but, it's just too much money, as proven.

Has anyone experienced phantom scrolling with the XZ2P? for example, using the youtube app I scroll down to the comments area and keep moving down several pages then I touch the display with my finger applying some pressure and suddenly the phone scrolls back up to the beginning until I remove my finger. I always have to touch the display microseconds otherwise it would scroll up for no reason. this also happened to my compact model too if I remember correctly.
The pocophone I have doesn't show this behaviour... scroll down down, apply pressure with finger and page stage where it is. No crazy scrolling

Well just ignore all hatred reviews, I am just much impressed with the camera of xz2 premium, I am much pixel Peeper and believe me, xz2 premium has the highest level of details and the bokeh is just like that it was shot with dslr, I've never seen such a great bokeh, I admit that Sony was not much good in cameras but that has been changed and now I think that Sony has best camera, and all other things have already been proven to be great, far better than iPhone X and evwn new iPhones, Sony you made me your fan with this
