They announced it in April, they would launch it in June, then in July, and now in August ... more than a smart phone, it looks like the story of "Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf". The wolf comes in June! ...- Wolf is? ...- No, come in July ... wolf is? ...- No, he's coming in September ... Will he have sony, afraid of the superiority of the camera and battery Note 9? -I think that if, due to the camera of this XZ2P, it seems good, it can not overcome sensitivity to the low illumination of the S9 +, and it seems that in S. Note 9, the camera will improve even more, in relation to the S9 +. The sony camera still gets too much noticeable noise in zoom. And they do not even take the trouble to push voice commands to the camera ...

NickTheDude, 16 Jul 2018Why old resolution That's 4K resolution on a phone.......what more do you want ? It's the highest resolution for phones on the market, i don't and neither does anyone else see the point in a higher resolution for a phone at this moment in time.

Software runs smooth and no bootlooping yet.
As far as the battery degradation, I'm not really worried. Both phones are under warranty and I got insurance for them, if something happens, first the warranty then the insurance would cover any damage or issue.

Predictive memorys, 14 Jul 2018For my Xperia Z2 experience, when it is new I have One and ... moreThe use I give my phones is the usual. Social media (Instagram, Whatsapp, Snapchat sometimes), web browsing, music playing and/or Youtube (sometimes through headphones sometimes via bluetooth), and sometimes a bit of camera fun. No gaming for me.
I don't do overnight charging. I'll charge when it's necessary and only with the charger that comes with the phone. Once the battery is around 15-20% I'll plug it and charge until it's in the 90s. That or a quick top up if needed.

As far as usual screen on time, I'm getting from 5 to 7 on my LG V30 and around 7 to 9 on my Mate 10. With screens at 1440p. I once managed to stretch them to 8 on the V30 and 10 hours on the Huawei, but I wouldn't recommend doing that often.

Shen G, 14 Jul 2018In my case I always have a powerbank, whether it's in the c... moreFor my Xperia Z2 experience, when it is new I have One and half day for my usage, some time I will manage it for a moderate usage to get fully 2 day usage and charging the phone second day of the night and get a 100% fully charged battery on the third day morning, that's why my Z2's battery have strong enough even 4 years usages. (I have to mention I drop my Z2 too many times and it does not effect the performance and doesn't affect battery lifespan and never have any bootloop problems.) Yes I never bring power bank because my Z2 has pretty good on battery management, if I run it more work I still have left around 20% balance when I am at home. But recently I have bring power bank sometimes, because I go for a trips sometime and I will capture a lot photos and Web surfing and gaming whole day long during the day or couple of days. But usual day I won't bring the power bank it is a burden to me.

You charging your 4000mAh battery how frequently a day? Do you worry to do the overnight charging? Will the battery indicator drop slightly faster after you perform the quick charge?
