Great performance and batteryl... moreIf you would've watched some youtube reviews and even the review from gsmarena you would've seen that it is a very slippery and hard to hold phone that's why a case is very recommended. I'm using the spigen rugged armor case and it is great to hold and use.

Had it for 1 week already... Great performance and batterylife.
Worst material and design. In the week I had it, it slipped out of my hands, felt from the table, chair, basically every place I put it.
Not thought through. Very dissapointing.

About car holder, there are plenty and original may be better, should try different one.

I see one offer on dx.com website offering silver coloured xz2 premium at 514 $. This is, so far, the lowest price of this mobile I have ever seen. Please give remarks as to credibility and dependability of this website. I am looking to buy one for me from this website, but rather afraid of some cheap Chinese websites. Has anyone bought from dx.com ? Can I go with it and buy the mob. ?

I have been using the xperia xz2 premium now for several weeks...i find it so much more satisfying to use than even my pixel 2xl. Better than my note 9...definitely miles better than my iPhone 8 plus. The camera can consistently produce better pictures than my pixel 2xl after taking time to learn how to use it properly and recognizing it's limits and tendencies. My kids love playing games and watching videos on the xz2 premium. The screen is on par or better than my samsung per my kids. The battery has settled in, and is performing slightly better than my pixel 2xl, and definitely better than my iPhone 8 plus. As long as Sony keeps moving in the right direction with their phones, I will happily be a loyal customer. Another thing...if the size and weight doesn't bother my 8 and 10 year old, it shouldn't bother you either. Those are just nitpicking things from people looking to find anything wrong with Sony phones.

Chap1, 01 May 2019This is my question to u and to all others who bother us he... moreOn my phone i have my banking apps, amazon, ebay etc. that contain information which i and you wouldn't want exposed to the public so we want a certain level of protection for the phone which contains those apps. On the computer we have antiviruses and regular windows updates which help prevent hackers taking advantage of app or computer vulnerabilities to acces our documents but on a phone there is no such things instead we have patches that fix the bugs in the android software when found preventing criminals from taking advantage of such bugs to gain access to our phone and install screen recorders or various nefarious apps. Every electronic device with an internet connection can be hacked and have data stolen from them but if you regularly patch certain system files hacking said device becomes more difficult. If security updates weren't important no one would get them but EVERYONE gets regular security updates on their pcs, consoles, smart devices hell even refrigerators have security updates nowadays so why is a phone which holds all your important information and banking details not receiving those security updates ? Long gone are the days where phones were secure especially with all the information you have inside them, all your life is inside your phone so why shouldn't you want to protect it ? So take my advice and buy a different phone because sony isn't supporting this anymore.

Because i have 5 years old Sony Z3 and 6 years old Sony Z1,both work great- fsst and fluid,something that Samsung,Huawei and others can only dream about.

Maybe Xperia 1 can win over current P30 Pro for daylight & video recording, but definitely not in low lights department. While it will definitely better than XZ2 Premium, it can never beat the hardware goodies in P30 Pro, bigger sensor, bigger pixel size & the RYYB sensor, makes it the current champ on low lights department.
Then Mate 30 Pro will came out this year around October, with better hardware than P30 Pro. Its a never ending cycle. But its good that Sony makes a right direction for their camera department now.

I actually own this phone now, and I have to say, I absolutely love it. It's heavy, sure, but the reviewers all make it sound so much worse than it actually is. And it's chunky, but Sony has used that to their advantage by making it super comfortable to hold.
