I have been using Sony phones since long K810i, Xperia S, Xperia Z3 compact and now Xperia XZ premium. All is well, but it slipped from my hand from below 1m height fell on a floor edge on the power button and cracked right in the centre of the back pane inspite of having a transparent cover and the phone doesn't successful bootup. Sony authorised centre is asking for 30k to repair this when a new one is available below 50k. This seems to be a weak spot in design I believe "no offence". Sony need to plug such vulnerable spots in design.

This is an outstanding device.
It's awesome in all respects with superb quality.
Display is Great.
Camera is wonderful...

xz premium is best...IP 68 water proof feature is nice ...no need to take tention about your phone while working in rain ..I like this phone,,,

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2018Does v20 - v30 really have better headphone audio quality v... moreif its for listenig to the music- yes,there is a difference because just like Htc,v20 and v30 have QUAD DAC chip so powerful for audio experience,sony and others dont have it,but overall both phones are great,sony is better performer in a real long terms of usage.

Does v20 - v30 really have better headphone audio quality vs sony xz premium - xz1, or the difference in the sound quality is unnoticable to human hearing?

new owner
i had to setup the phone to my wife. few stuff was disabled but i'm happy to see have no a lot of bloatware on the phone.
about 5 hours downloading and installing and browser searching on the phone and the battery usage was 72% to 40%. i think is pretty cool
the phone is little bulky to my taste but this chrome design is look ok.
the display look also great but i do not see too much difference, a 2k or 1080p display is also very nice on this "small" size. the brightness levels is good , very dark or very bright where need.
the phone response time for touch or starting application is awesome. very fast and no a bit lag. Launcher was changed for Nova and installed some app like no root firewall, greenify, firefox with ublock origin etc.
camera not tested yet well, but in low light i think not this is the best camera on the market, but good enough.
very much missing the wireless charger and the double tap wake up for me.
the loud stereo speakers is sounds good but on higher volume the phone is little vibrating.
headset did not tested yet.
i bought the phone about $450 with case, tempered glass, power bank and something yeti mug :-)
in my opinion i would not buy this phone for long usage now, because this kind of style is over. i believe you will bored it half year later because is bulky (i just got a slap from my wife) :-)
but i know we are different so if you like this design you will definitely not regret to buy because everything is great for this price.

I have protective glass on the front and hydrogel protective film on the back. The latter is almost unnoticeable. It would be a shame hiding such beauty.
