Biggest fan of SONY... Please modify the xz premium like top n bottom bezels, edge to edge display, SD 845, camera OIS, design should be same. And Introduce it as xz premium 2018 version then it will the best phone ever... Good luck Sony

hello i just bought this phone yesterday, i want to ask about its screen, its kinda yellowish?! is it the way it is or my device has failure production? my previous phone was Z3 which its screen looks bluish and i like it. i know i can change it in settings but im just curious...

All right after I asked many people that what phone should I buy in last month. So I decided to go with Sony Xperia XZ Premium. This is the 1 of the best smartphone of the year 2017 and still relevant in this year in my opinion. The price of Sony Xperia XZ Premium dropped after new flagship released. I bought a Rosso color one. I wonder to myself what I asked the phone should buy, Here the list : Sony Xperia XZ Premium, HTC U11+, HTC U11, Samsung Galaxy S9+, iPhone X, LG V30+, Samsung Galaxy S8+. The opinion of mine for these devices that I decided not buy HTC U11+ It's good and overall I think it's better than Sony Xperia XZ Premium a bit but due to the company of HTC that is surprisingly getting worse right now, Same deal to the HTC U11 but it's worse a bit and why? For the quality is terrible and fragile phone, Samsung Galaxy S9+ well in my feeling of using it. It's kind of laggy tho lagger than Sony Xperia XZ Premium I first use and the software it's terrible but many features yep it's quiet not too good, iPhone X this amazing phone I really like this phone because the screen is smooth. Very smooth and the feeling of quality of it. It's doing quiet well speaker is better good impact, good quality but I feel like OS is really poor optimized from last iOS 9. So skipped. Finally is S8 oh I forgot I don't like this kind of animation. It's really beat me up, like I dying inside, I mean ah deja vu haha. Skipped
Good thing about it is camera I really do appreciated to the color accuracy because I got the job well done. Overall is good. Fingerprint is fast 4K60fps 1080phdr. And smooth OS that I used to use Android real fast but now I'm slower than it. Impressive camera features. The thing I really don't like about it is the speaker. It's really bad I mean it's not loud at all and the speaker is really not flagship grade. Camera is too hot even it's running up-to-date firmware. Even more. Fonts can't be add unless you root it and apply flipfont to it. and the bezels, I don't mind Sony Xperia XZ Premium by the way it's still looking elegant but due to 2017 phone with the bezel-less design which is okay.
Conclusion should you buy it? Maybe yes if you want to stick with Sony promising. But I would said no if you want to try Sony. Maybe you should go with Google Apple or Xiaomi if you want Chinese-improved phone.

AnonD-746250, 21 Mar 2018can the camera be used for taking long exposure shots?Yes u can, but somehow it doesn't do as well as other flagships. their maximum exposure value for their IMX400 Motion Eye camera is 1s, compared to other high-end flagships which have 4s. But still, no matter what smartphone u use to take low-light, it is best recommended to use a tripod for long exposure low-light shots

Almost a year with mine nothing to complain about, no lag, fast and good battery life no overheat issues.
And Sony is doing a good job with updates...

AnonD-718099, 20 Mar 2018No, the bigger the bezels the better the gaming experience ... moreI agree 100%, glad someone agrees that bezels are good, they offer a lot too also shrinking them is a copy to samsung edges and we dont want that, bezels make the name "Premium" stand out IMO and few other features (internally and externally) e.g. this handset itself 😉

You can only experience minor warmness if you're playing game with it for a long time ( but who plays games with a smartphone when you can buy a gaming console ?) other than that ,there is zero heat problem and the dual front firing stereo speakers is not doing bad when you're in a relaxed environment.
