Anonymous, 04 Nov 2017Sony has a near stock Android UI, but its still infested wi... moreSorry too say that but your comment is nothing short of useless that what you mention about the XZP is totally wrong i have this phone since the day it was release and hav nt experience any problem with it the XZP is some of the best phones you can by for money and this monster is dam fast my XZP is already on Oreo and one more thing you can esay costumize the xzp with another launcher there are a plenty of that in the play store but i for my self like xperia launcher and by the way the note 8 is for sure a very good phone but the price for 64 gigabyte version is beyoung all dreams the price dos nt justify too spent so much money i have also the s8 which is also an exellent devce just like the xzp but there difrent from each other but one thing they have the advantage is the price and the s8 does almost the same thing like that note 8 except too the s pen

Sony has such limited R & D that it can't customize its UI or offer any impovements or features or enhancements. Maybe one in a hundred flagship phones are Sony these days. Its 2017 and the public are very knowledgeable about Smartphones as everybody has them now. Sony is below standard compared to other major brands, and thats why peope avoid Sony. Its as simple as that. I know you need to justify your failed investment in a Sony phone, but maybe next time, accept the facts and purchase something better.
Sony has Excessive bloatware that can't be uninstalled which only cause lagginess. The biggest gimmick ever is the useless 4K screen !. The human eye needs at least a 40" screen to appreciate and see 4K. And the 960fps camera takes second prize as the biggest useless gimmick, as it only lasts for 0.2 of a second.
Again, the public has spoken about which are the best phones. BTW, the Samsung N8 just received "Best phone of the year in the U.K". The Samsung S7, won MWC "Best phone of the year, 2016" And Sony does market its phones internationally on TV, your just making lame excuses.

But what use is it when the phone freezes constantly, some users report even 4 times per day. I just hope for you fnboys it is just a soft bug and not hardware bug.
Is that worth a 1000 bucks?!

Xzp snapdragon 835 and note 8 sd835
Both camera sensors by Sony
Both flagship phones.
The differences are s pen, edge screen, ois for Samsung and stereo for Sony.
So I think it is fair enough to compare their price

You do realise phones are not only about whats outside. Any GAYlaxy can't give you updates as fast as Sony. Neither will they last as long as a Sony phone. I had the S5 which was nothing short of garbage.
