The more I use this phone, the more I love it. Went to water park today and kept this phone in my pocket. Took amazing pictures, and videos under water.

If u want to know about battery life, u can get more than a day of moderate usage with it, I used it for a few days after I got it, battery life is already satisfying on my XPERIA XZ, but this one satisfies me more. Get it, it is a really good smartphone

[deleted post]I love their review, they are very honest. If there is something bad they say bad, if there is problem they tell us the problem.
Others are just can not be honest, if there is problem, think positive, maybe only the unit they own, if there is something bad, its subjective bad for us good for others, so play safe, its all good.

No problems at all, u shouldn't be feeling hot when touching the smartphone, for me it is cool to the touch unless I play games for half an hour, sometimes I used the camera it feels warm, but trust me, I have no camera shutdown in my XPERIA XZs and XPERIA XZ PREMIUM after a few minutes, they have fixed it I guess. So yeah overall I recommend this smartphone if u like Sony, it have most of the problems I found on the older Z series fixed, and some from my X series too

My phone gives this pixelated display. I can clearly see the Display grid on my screen. Also, the battery is pathetic. There is no always on display, you have to push to power button in order to unlock the phone despite having fingerprint and the fingerprint sensor sucks since it works like a charm at one time and on another, it doesn't work at all.

I have been buying Z and X series for around 4 years already from Amazon, and I have no defect on my smartphones or anything, no camera distortion even on my XPERIA XZ PREMIUM. If u happen to be the unlucky one, then u are going to get the problems

xXENDER FREAKXx, 19 Oct 2017Saying of updates, I am not sure if people who is using XPE... moreI dont expect anything higher than Oreo on my X Performance, maybe some Oreo update build in 2018...
But Sony goes per SoC, meaning if your one year old XZs gets updated beyond Oreo, my X Perform will most probably too, cause they are both sd820 based.
And I believe they will update XZs beyond Oreo, cause they usually update at least 2 years.
Its one of the reasons they dont use incremental updated SoCs like sd821, or sd 836 in their devices...for better and faster update coverage of their portfolio.

Batterylife already... moreSaying of updates, I am not sure if people who is using XPERIA XZs like me will get to update to a newer version one version ahead of ANDROID OREO as the final big update, since it is like a slight refresh from my daily driver XPERIA XZ, with a new camera, more memory and a newer ANDROID version one version ahead of XPERIA XZ during its release. I doubt XPERIA XZ will get the next ANDROID version after ANDROID OREO, well I already have some Z series that is out of updates already; XPERIA Z1 XPERIA Z2 and XPERIA Z3, which shows 2 years later there will be no more updates, maybe there will still be Security Patch Updates, idk. But I am not sure if XPERIA XZs will get because it have the same processor that is from XPERIA XZ's year, so I have some doubts that Google will have some incompatibility again or something. Can u figure it out though Tann?

If persistant, turn SmartCleaner off, it does keep your phone clean and tidy, but usses more battery and clears system cache constantly so can produce slower multitasking and connectivity issues.
