How I don't know but I'm going for another Sony because it stay the same for years.

Snapdragon 820 doesn't overheat like Snapdragon 810 in the Xperia Z5. On games only slightly warm only theres no overheating. I know cos Xperia XZ got same specs

Samsung also use LCD but only in their lowend phones. SuperAMOLED is more color accurate than any LCD display. LCD has terrible color reproduction, worse contrast and black levels compared to SuperAMOLED. Even after one year, Samsung phones last longer on a single charge than Sony phones. Battery degradation is only 20 percent at most and 5 percent in newer batteries.

Touchwise, Samsung is the king of bloatwares, the only reason which makes Samsung has slightly higher battery performance is only the cheap amold display, it is good efficient but terrible colors producer, especially at low brightness levels, and the weak MALI gpu which is terribly for gaming, unlike Sony, even with snapdragon processor's and ips lcd display which is less efficient but much better color producer, they manage to make excellent battery life even with smaller batteries than the Galaxy, this is the real software optimization, and don't get me started about the fast battery health degradation of the Galaxy smartphones after few months of usage, unlike Sony, with Qnovo battery and adaptive charging, battery care feature, 2+ years minimum without degradation, Sony wants our smartphones to live forever, ask the note 7 users what Samsung wanted for their costumers.

Samsung phones have no bloatware apps, at least, the international unlocked versions. Advanced Touchwiz features are not bloatware apps. They have no icons appearing in the app drawer and are not eating resources when you're not using them. Sony phones have shorter battery life than Samsung phones simply because they use smaller batteries. No amount of software optimization can make their battery last longer than Samsung because they are still running the same resource-hungry Android OS. The biggest battery-hog in Android devices is the Android OS, itself, not any custom UI skin or feature.

XZs is as big as the S7 edge yet the screen is onl... moreWrong, xz is big as the s7 not the s7edge, read the specifications before posting untrue facts, if the xz has 5.2 inches display and the s7 has 5.1 and both have 70% screen to body ratio therefore both have the same size but one is taller and narrower than the other, and actually the xzs has front facing stereo speakers and 13mp selfy shooter unlike the s7, so the waste of space is in the s7 :).

Got hot problem, even boiled egg sure u can. The biggest joke premium hp for 2015. I even don't want to sell this phone for the next buyyer got scammed be me. Not even used as normal phone do. U call them z5. I wonder this xzs phone if still got heating problem. Sony in my eyes don't even worth shit than samsung. Samsung at very least don't heating problem.
The second biggest joke is software. The default is location history is turn on. What the heck. For 1 year this is the biggest problem for draining my battery life. And then I notice my friend brand new s8 samsung, location history is turn off. Sure Samsung notice this problem and got turn off with default, but sony no. I am certain that samsung this year don't like past that had lagging problem in touchwich software. They become "responsible" in my opinion, but sony no, even don't bother to patch this heating problem.
My be need certain time for me for trus this phone again. Sony is good phone if they listen to costumer and need certain quality control to release the next phone.

Sony devices are built to last, despite having Xperia Z5, I also have Xperia J since 2013 tht stil runs smooth n in perfect condition, no scratch, th touch n th screen stil working,never cracked...only tht I cnt take clear pics on low lit areas as b4... got few games on it wt its smaller ram, the smaller battery lasts around 24hrs on normal usage n few browse time...still perfect. now hw about th XZs?' its just perfect th ram is big n cn handle stuff really well.. unfortunately most guys post negative stuff yet den deep theyv never even touched a Sony product leave alone using them...they just live in hearsays and illusions
