The criticism of the battery size of the Sony devices do not have enough variables. Notice with iPhones and some others, they run out of power after a few days even when off. What does this tell us? A 3200 mA battery should be tons if it is operating honestly.

Your observations about lack of bezels are under reported. Yes, the Edge type phones make for a fragile device that is difficult to hold in use without sending unwanted commands to the device. It can make taking a picture or video difficult as well and putting it in a frame or other tripod mount difficult. I really look forward to getting a device that has bezels so it can be held easily and firmly.

For those who comment about ram. Only the k10 and z5 compact have 2 GB of ram and run Android Nougat like butter. So do a little research before deciding why you need ram and if ram storage rather than ram speed and memory management are more important

It doesn't get easily shattered when dropped. The S8 display, on the other hand, has a palm rejection. The curved edge screen doesn't register accidental touches by the palm. Your argument is outdated.

Extremely thin bezel and curved screen means extremely fragile and false active touches
Top and bottom bezel does not disturb the easy-to-hold condition;too.....

And even worse, for its bulk, Sony wasn't able to fit in a larger battery. Even the S7 which is much smaller than the XZs has a larger battery.

They used plastic before, and wireless charging can be used with plastic, they channged to glass because of pressure the iphone and sony also htc give to them, three of them can offer premium materials for their premium device while samsung with plastic, they tried to combine the sony+iphone style, using glass sandwich metal, and omit the sdcard slot and waterproof, guess what, a flop, s7, they did it right, but s8 nope, s9? Yup they will did it right, and the cycle continue

Ive been waiting for 4 years for sony to improve their loud speaker, camera in low light, music volume level, now they screw up with the bog bezel for me! Sony phones are great but they meed to improve. Damn u Sony.
