Tann Hauser, 20 Mar 2017I will. Tho I hope you realize Samsung got nothing to do ... moreSamsung alone does the entire manufacturing/testing of Qualcomm cpu. Qualcomm only designs and then sits back while Samsung does the real work

Tann Hauser, 19 Mar 2017Just bought and been using X Performance for 2 days now. ... moreBeing a previous Sony owner with many undesirable problems would be normal to you. Such as lower than normal volume, bad battery life, stupid dedicated camera button, overheating/shutdowns on max video recording settings, ridiculously placed/awkward fingerprint reader, extremely slow boot up, Sony bloatware with constant popup notifications that can't be unistalled, failed Android 7 updates, bad warranty/service, extremely limited world wide service centres, no international warranty outside country of purchase, etc etc.

Tann Hauser, 20 Mar 2017I will. Tho I hope you realize Samsung got nothing to do ... moreActually, your wrong. All the testing, and total manufacturing process of Qualcomm Snapdragon cpu is done by Samsung. At Samsungs factorys and electronics and machinery departments. Including all required materials/chemicals and the total manufacturing of Snapdragon cpu's.

The design process is solely done by Qualcomm.

Qualcomm have just extended their decade-long strategic foundry collaboration with Samsung to continue this development and testing and manufacture of Qualcomm Snapdragon cpu's.

Samsung were the first in the industry to enter mass production of 10nm FinFET technology, as used in the new SD835 chipset.

Tho I hope you realize Samsung got nothing to do with the SoC except pay up for use of oven to bake the cake.

              One word.
              Superb device.
Cant believe how bias revs are.

First had to install 8 automatic updates, along with nougat too.
That 8 updates in 8 months time since released.... kudos to Sony.
Batterylife 5 to 7 hr SoT. Indeed all day heavy use for me. And no fear of battery degradation.
Sound and volume superb. Really dont know how these revs conclude its too low. Tho back vibrates when speakers on high volume tho. And no radio tho.
Headphone sound. I really cant stress how good a difference that automatic headset adapt and dsee hx make., even onn the cheapest Sony headphones I got with it...and its louuud.
Camera. Both excellent, both having stead+iam stabilisation now. Main cam all the goodies of XZs. Here and there having lens flare problems. No overheating at all. Recorded 4k over open camera app. Manual does indeed do wonders in low light.
Gaming performance along with stereo front sound.... Unmatched.

Indeed cant stress how good this device is.

Only when you indeed start using these devices you notice how revs are full of cr*p

Its a good phone with preety decent design. 424ppi is fine for me since I don't have Super natural Eyes. Have a pair of front firing speakers which aren't that loud But they sound amazing. And since its a 1080p display with 4 gigs of ram the performance will be good for sure.I do find the camera on this slightly a gimmick and would have loved it if it simply would have made it for better low light clicking with good details and less noise.
So overall the only cons are
                1.speakers Won't be that Loud
                2. Camera might be a bit noisy as usual or might lack details.
The rest suits very well for what a flagship smartphone should be like.

The ice blue so sweet! Mountain blue still gorgeous!

To all those saying it has Micro usb, it doesn't have one. It's USB-C, but it only adheres to USB 2.0 spec.

This phone is what the XZ shoud have been. Even now with the launch approaching soon, Sony has barely marketed it. I fear it is going to end up like Xperia X performance.

Why Sony didn't make the XZ or XZs compatible with CDMA?
The modem certainly can do that easily. I can't use those now on my Verizon plan... and I really want to ditch my Moto.

Price wise its the same cost.

The Xperia XZs is packing a Snapdragon 820 instead of a Snapdragon 821. The Snapdragon 821 is clocked at a higher speed for the upper cores, hence the G6 may be faster. But Sony have very good optimization, so maybe it can be faster than the LG G6

Like many others, the XZ Premium is too big for my liking, but I still want the top specs in a Sony phone.

I think it could have been more beneficial to come out with a Sony XZ Premium (XZs) and Sony XZ Premium Plus (XZ Premium) product lineup.
