Like many others, the XZ Premium is too big for my liking, but I still want the top specs in a Sony phone.
I think it could have been more beneficial to come out with a Sony XZ Premium (XZs) and Sony XZ Premium Plus (XZ Premium) product lineup.

seems strange that i haven't seen anywhere in the uk offering this for pre order or even mentioning its coming soon when its less than a month away. Whereas the premium is months away and everywhere's mentioning it.

Stop complaining about bezels... They are meant to be Sony unique detail and I think they have to do the job with phones performance and inside parts placing/protection in best way. Allso imagine you're holding a bezel less phone and watching a video through your fingers, or even have a gaming hour. All in all you'll have unnecessary taps and discomfort ;)

Do a comparison on gsmarena of the x performance pro, the xz and the Xzs and you will find they're basically the same phone. The camera, battery and quick harder 3 being iterative improvements. I doubt an increase of 3gb to 4gb ram will make much difference to the 820's performance but I do wonder how the android 7 to 7.1 improves on the Android 6 battery usage, especially with doze.

Yes it has the Sony 2017 latest 3-layer stacked CMOS Image Sensor with DRAM, which can capture the 960 fps Super Slow-Motion movie and 4K video.

I have no idea why Sony would create another Sony Xperia XZ's "clone" with almost the same specs and the only change is Motion Eye camera. Sony, plz, maybe change the chipset or something?

... moreWe've seen best in class battery life on the Z2 and Z3 series where the endurance ratings ranged from 85 hours to 105 hours. For some reason they abandoned their focus on this feature with the Z5 phones and beyond.
I'd like to see these new phones with much higher endurance ratings. 60-70 hours doesn't cut it.
I think including the 835 SoC in this phone could have helped with that.
