Vicky, 15 Sep 2014Most of poeple saying that sony z screen problm its sensiti... moredonot by xperia z, its battery backup is worse then my laptop. it give only 3-4 hrs backup. go for brand other then sony. I am very disappointed after purchasing xperia z.

Sry maybe i'm still noobs using this device (android). How to back up 3rd apps/games when i want to move to new android device? because i don't want my games that i playing almost 1 year start from beginning. :(. I read it simple if use apps clean master then choose app manager?

AnonD-300487, 17 Sep 2014Well, my XZ is a few months old, still under warranty, runs... moreHow to root Z2 and Z3, I don´t know as I do not have those, we here talking about XZ (6602 and 6603) devices. That´s why I don´t post there. But rooting XZ is easy and user can uninstall bloat ware.

The method is: flash the kernel from the previous firmvare, root it and reflash the kernel comes with this update. OK, I´m not average user and dont´t even bother if I softbrick my phone (I did it twice) and able to relock and reroot my device as well reflash the original firmware as bought in the store brand new. But I think this is not for you.

You fail to see that this is a general problem affecting all Xperia models, in addition to that rooting isnt an option for most people, especially for phones still under warranty.
Having to go through lengthy and damaging procedures to disable something that shouldnt have been there in the first place is not an option. If Sony would honor the warranty on rooted devices i may have agreed but they dont and they will not have the pleasure of seeing me waiver my warranty because of THEIR stupid bloat.
Looks like it will be iPhone 5s for me after all, it has already had a considerable pricecut this last week.

With system app unistaller from play store, you can simply uninstall all bloatwares. I completely cleaned out the ROM. Fast and smooth and no annoying things anymore. But warning! Whatever you do, do it on your own risk!

If this is true i will not get the Z3 Compact, i need my home button to be a home button and not being held hostage by bloat apps.

please somebody post to sony forum or tell sony team that "what's new" apps is really annoying, since 4.4.4 can't disable except using 3rd apps or root, it's very unconvinient and not professional for big company like sony. And also socialife, sony select, xperia care and other "unused" apps
