"Enabling this preference in developer options offloads task of rendering window components like buttons, text and complex 2d graphics calculations to GPU. This often results in much faster UI rendering including animations. On one side you will definitely achieve better frame rate (and hence smooth experience) throughout system, but you may end up using more battery. On certain devices, GPU consumes more power the CPU, hence you may observe 5-15% lower battery life with option enabled.
I would recommend having this option enabled on devices with weaker CPUs e.g. You should seldom need to enable this on dual-core 1.4ghz ARM CPU.
Offloading UI rendering to GPU has obvious benefits so that CPU can work on other important tasks like database IO, data manipulation, layout calculations and responding to other user inputs."
I wasn´t really into helping n00bs to be able to unlock developer options, because it is for developers and advaced users. It is hidden by default and there is a reason why...

Just to remember if u want to buy this device,make sure u will not dissapoint in the future.
Because the rumor, Android Version 4.4.4 will be the last version for this smartphone,it mean u will not get the latest Android (coming soon Lollipop).
If u the person don't really care about UI and not Update freaky. Go buy this one,
but if u really care about UI and update, at least buy Xperia Z2 which is no major different with Xperia Z3 that made for Cycle Half Year Gimmick marketing only.

max, 14 Sep 2014How to find rendering gpu pse help me to find outBefore i explain how to find 'Force Rendering GPU' option. sry for my late reply.
Here, first this option is only for Developer Options only,it mean for advanced user.
How to activate it is just go to Setting - About Phone - Build Number (Touch it quickly about 7-9times).
Voila Developer Options now is available above About Phone option.
Then you just open Developer Options amd scroll down till u find 'Force GPU rendering' and tick it.
The benefit is your phone will working smooth and battery life have more endurance than before. *IMO*

AnonD-307370, 15 Sep 2014which is better - note 3 neo or xperia z??Note 3 Neo is just like Note 2 with new look only. I prefer Sony XZ for your choose because it has better performance than SGN3 NEO. But if u want last longer one for battery life go for Note 3 Neo.

You can think if u turn on data while playing HD games it drains faster about only 3 hours for play game HD. If u need an internet connection. I suggest wifi only. At least it take 1% than use data 3%

Vicky, 15 Sep 2014Most of poeple saying that sony z screen problm its sensiti... moreThere are no problems with the camera. Also battery is very bad only in 4.4.2 Kit Kat. The camera gives better details and better color than Z1 and Z1c's camera (Everybody knows that their camera is 20.7 MP).
