HelpPlease, 13 Sep 2014Guys what if I update my xperia z directly from jelly bean ... moreIt's possible but as someone noted you'll get a lot of errors. I used the "repair phone" option. Make sure you back up your phone's data since it'll wipe everything.

Here in the middle east,yesterday i recieved the 4.4.4 update,it's working perfectly,no battery drains,everything's good.

HelpPlease, 13 Sep 2014Guys what if I update my xperia z directly from jelly bean ... moreI did the same. You have to make factory reset before you update and do factory reset after the update, otherwise you'll experience so many errors and crashes.

I have got the update for 4.4 with firmware 0.283. I wonder if any one else has updated it? If yes can you share your experiences? Should i update it right away or wait for some time

All xperia z users..... If you received 4.4.4 update on your xperia z then please update your xperia z..... Because 4.4.4 update have no any problem.....

Guys . Anyone in here have a problem like me when upgrading firmware .230 to .283 ?
Because it about 10 times i have download/installed it .
After download it ,directly ask me to install it. And on reboot processed like usual it takes 8mins approximately, as it noticed me on the screen before confirmation for reboot/installation.
And the screen showing the green robot(a sign installing new update/firmware) while reboot on progress.
But ,the screen always come fast to the home screen(like restart the phone) i know it's not succesful yet because i see the installation progress that shows on green robot not completely 100% (just about 10% then back to home screen)
i have tried about 10 times on 3 days. Of course i have checked my About Phone it still same like before (.230) i have installed that new firmware.
Can anyone solve my problem. Please
