AnonD-29193, 12 Jul 20144.2.2 is Jelly Bean not kitkat. 4.4.2 and 4.4.3 is kitkat.now, how can i get kitkat? is there any problem in my cellphone? I bought this phone on 11th july, 2014. or, can i get update it later? plzz inform.

N... moreWell Dani, first of all tell me if there is any positive change in 4.4.2 in comparison to 4.3 or its just a Change in UI. You know what, we, the 4.3 users are quite happy with what we have right now. We have heating and battery issues, but overall our Xperia Z is coooool one till now.
If 4.4.2 is better than 4.3, only then I'm going to install it. But, we are puzzled... Some are saying its bad, some says good. And SONY says nothing!!!
Please say, what is the ultimate result. Is it better than 4.3 or not.

Hummm...!? Interface sweet, sliding like never, (kitkat). No heating issue like 4.3 JellyBean, battery still on test...

There's anyone have upgrade xperia z to kitkat? If there's, is there any problem happen? how about performance,heat,battery?
I'm going to buy this phone, but i'm afraid i can't have kitkat version on pretty condition.

Kitkat simply rocks in Xperia™ z, performing well than 4.3. better stamina for battery.. No more heating at all.. In love with the new user interface..

there is no kitkat update in my Z. my software version is 4.2.2. I tried to do update but it shows "this handset is at latest version." why?

2.tick force GPU to render 2D drawing
3.reboot
It helps no Lagg at all :)

Guys those who are facing lag issue after updating to kitkat specially while scrolling down in settings app it's lagging right? To resolve this problem just go to developer options and tick 'force GPU to render 2D drawing ' then reboot device!!! It helps trust me
