Please anyone don't buy this phone,its very ugly phone ever,sony cheater company. Xperia z display quality very bad,front camera & back camera qulaity alos bad,though they say backcamera 13mp & front camera 2mp.don't trust this.thankyou.

AnonD-268185, 28 May 2014Hi, Am looking to buy this Any issues after updating to... moreif you do get this phone do not update it to 4.4.2. every device that has the kitkat update got nothing but bugs. the only positive side on the kitkat is the look of the user interface and its customizations, which means nothing cause on the other hand you'll get bad battery and lags. better stay in 4.3. this phone runs really smooth in 4.3.

PeterIT, 28 May 2014I think you are the problem not the phone. I'm using this ... morethey're talking about after the kitkat update. I doubt you had your xz running in kitkat for almost a year now since Sony just recently released that update.

After upgrade to kitkat I want to sell it off.
Although it having some camera dust defection I still keep it with me after warranty.
The camera dust defect happen in the warranty but it take two week to making claim procedure so I keep it cause it's not so important,the newly killbatt 4.4.2 update my phone are completely suck.
Press the function button lagging almost 1 sec to open.
I am going to sell off this sony phone no more sony in future going back to HTC or Nokia.

The Rev, 27 May 2014This question is for the people who updated their xperia Z ... moreUpdates usually depend on your region but with kitkat almost any region got the same laggy and power hungry update. Some only get the battery drain issue, some say they only get the lag issue, some get both. 4.3 jelly bean is the best os they made. Personally, I'd just stick to it. with almost 9/10 comments I see about the kitkat update are negative, there's just no way I'm updating. Unless you know how to root or flash your phone, 4.3 jb is still the best. My xz never had any problems with it. Now, if you do know how to root your phone then by all means try out the kitkat update, you can just downgrade it back to 4.3 if you don't like it.

I received the new update of walkman player, and i did it. Its a nice one, diferent from old player. Does enyone knows how to keep the old in case that i want to change it? Wherever i need it

Friends i bought the sonyexperia z1 last month and got some problem in the simcard holder while inserting the sim. Then when i took the mobile to the service center to repair it the reply i got was " Sorry we dont have equipment to open the mobile So you can pay us 18000 Rupees so that we can replace the old one with the new one..!!! i was pissed off of their response and the mobile is lying in my cabinet without any use. So my sincere request to the readers to reconsider before you buy this phone. NO SERVICE / NO CUSTOMER CARE / SIMPLY WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY....
