That is a problem across the whole Z range. It will work fine on most Wifi networks and go into bootloop on others. Reset your modem and try the phone on a different network.

I recently installed BBM onto my Xperia Z but I c... moreYou actually need a wifi connection to set up your bbmaccount, otherwise if don't have a wfi, go to settings>more>mobile networks>Access point names>then choose the select APN at your phone, search for proxy number and delete it. Then the bbm can setup without wifi, just use Mobile traffic data.

Hi guys.
I recently installed BBM onto my Xperia Z but I cannot seem to access it, whenever I open the app it tells me my wireless settings are faulty or something like that. I don't understand this? Please ANYONE who's had the same problem advise ME PLEASE guys. Thanks

Any one having problem with the wifi after the latest OTA update? Mines have to switch off and on back in order to on the wifi...

hi...just got xperia z white(hides smudges).Very nice phone, blazing fast, light....battery is satisfactory and better than nexus 4 i was using. Walkman app has the best music output through the earphones.wow...dont think twice. go for it

It's one of the best android phone i've ever had. It's sold in a reasonable price, it's cheaper than lots of available full hd smartphone in global. Although the viewing angle is not good, it has an amazingly sharp display in it's price range. Sony has released the successor of sony xperia z,but sony xperia z also has fast processors and big full HD display with a reasonable price. The significant change between xperia z1 and z for me is only the camera, since in real life usage snapdragon s4 pro krait with 2gb of ram is enough for me. Both of them also have full HD display, so the display won't be too much diffrent

HK, 25 Jan 2014Sony Xperia Z or Sony Xperia C ??? please give me adviceHello. Compare their display, front and rear cam , chipset, GPU,CPU, internal memory and its looks. By that I don't think Xperia C won't even stand up a chance with xperia Z. Definitely go for xperia Z.

N Tewatia, 25 Jan 2014Phone is very nice but battery backup is lowMine not too bad. Its actually OK. I'm using stamina mode and it really works the way it was intended to be. And that's to save battery from draining too fast. By the way, I have the 4.3 sporting my Xperia Z. The best phone I ever had!
