Xperia Z is almost back on top in user ratings now, just 0.001 point behind Z1. That's great, old phone making comeback to the top spot, and how long did it stay on top to begin with? Very long. It's unprecedented, the Z is a true classic already the same year it was launched, impressive.

With that said, an AMOLED display is able to outlast the usable lifetime of the device before parts of it start to degrade.
The main hindrance to the massive adaptation of AMOLED is the low production numbers. TFT has been in production for much longer and the infrastructure is already there to meet the demands.

Dear frens i was using this handset and i got it just 4 months ago. apps dont work properly and people its says water resistance. people for your information, my handset fall inside water not more than 30 seconds and now the cell is dead. I took it to the sony service centre. they vioded my warranty saying its water damage. and asked me 28 grand for replacement cell. Thats how sony works....people think more buying this cell phone..

Hello I recommend samsung galaxy s4, htc one, they both are better then Xperia Z. Sony devices got the TFT display which is not good.

Wrap it in fairly thick cotton and put it in the sun for 2-3 days. It should dry out and working again. I have done it 4 times before.

Do any of you has a problem with the wifi, that his signal is weak or not to connect to wifi. And he writes authentication problem.And how it can be resolved, whether the software. I tried something but failed. Something I read on xda

I bought Xperia Z 3 months ago but now it's broken. I used it in the pool knowing that it is water resistance. After that, Sony Xperia Z suddenly shut down. I tried to turn it on several times but I couldn't. I went back to the store and they told me that my phone is not covered by the warranty anymore. They advised me to just buy a new phone instead of letting them repair it because the cost of the repair is the same as the price of Sony Xperia Z.
