My phone is rooted more than 2 months ago, and I received updates from SONY. Rooting phone means to become administrator and you will have full permissions.

To hide the onscreen buttons your phone have to be rooted (check on xda there you can find some tutorials).
After you successfully rooted your phone install app from play store (AUTO HIDE SOFT KEYS- I'm using free version and I'm satisfied).
That app will take few minutes to setup the parameters. After this you can enjoy your 5 inch full screen display. It's just amazing! :)

I have/had it, it's an amazing phone and I really enjoyed it. But at another site they said the screen was hard as metal, which is not true. Another phone fell on mine and now the screen is completely broken. And because the display, touchscreen and glass are glued together. Such thing will cost you over €250. At some other Xperia Z's the glass just broke without a cause, but the damage will be repaired by Sony then.

its simply awesome i dont have its original charger it take 3 hours for complete charging anybody please tell me about its charging time with genuine charger and spec of genuine charger my charger's output is 750 mA..
