pin2, 07 Oct 2013Can anyone say that xperia z is better than galaxy s4I have used S4, its a ok phone, but the UI is very terrible as on all TouchWiz Samsungs. It was a relief to go back to Xperia Z, so clean and nice to use, feels snappier for some things as well, and best of all is that Z has no bloat while S4 is full of it (Xperia Z has some redundant stuff as well but it can be disabled without root, for example the annoying Google Now with its intrusive shortcuts on the Home and Back button, takes 30 seconds to disable it for good and save up some RAM in the process)

steve, 08 Oct 2013actually you can putit in upside down..ive done itI tried it now, could not get it all the way in, and felt immediately that something was wrong.
Why would one put it upside down anyway? Always try the correct way first, which is when the cards pins are facing away from you (Captain Obvious strikes again, but seems it is necessary in this case)

Im always connected to H or H+ network when i go out and my Z still have juice left after a whole night of heavy usage. Even with brightness on full it should last more than 2.5 hours. Upgrade your software, and pay attention to the Mediaserver if its eating your battery (it had a bad battery drain bug on 4.1.2). To avoid the Mediaserver ever starting do not use Sonys "Movies" app and dont play videos in the default Sony player. Install MX Player and use it consequently for a few days to see if Movies/Mediaserver is the culprit.

THE BATTERY no life , i bought it from ago two week . 100%full charge but cannot use 2.5hr more than 3G ,How can u help and solve about that?

Well this is the best phone I ever had. The design is perfect like I wished. Great performance. Everything perfect.
The unbelievable thing that I have found in it is, my phone (Xperia Z) lasts upto 4 days with calls & 6 days in stand by mode.
But the disappointment is if I use the phone:
For games - lasts less then 6 hours
For movies - lasts less than 1 days
For browsing - lasts less than half day.

I am on my 3rd sony xperia z in 3 weeks! Both phones went into sleep death. Bell will only replace with same phone. Not impressed! 3rd times a charm I guess.

well this is a amzing phone. i am getting 2 full days out of it. even with my sony smartwatch connected via bluetooth.
Just awesome. well done sony your the best.

Note 2: Better contrast, bigger screen and the Spen, 3100mAh battery. Children love painting with the pen and you can use the smartphone during more time with te battery.

I just removed my memorycard and reinserted it in the Xperia Z, if theres anything wrong with the card slot then i sure have no idea what it is, its working perfectly and cards fit right in. Maybe that guy tried to insert an old fashion Sony M2 card?
