The phone has many problems. they say its water proof but it is not
with the liquid damage , they do not provide you any warranty.
i have xperia z . also the back cover slides after some time. there is over heating problem.
once the water enters the device there is nothing you can do about it, also the phone is NOT REPAIRABLE. if damaged due to physically or due liquid , you will have to pay 32000 for replacement. So buy the phone at your own risk . i have put the phone in a water tub many times, used it while it was raining , nothing happened to my piece but one day the litmus paper turned red showing water has entered the device but my phone is still working properly . There is only a little color change in the display at the corner. very rarely visible but i observed it. i went to the customer care , they said liquid damage so no warranty.

AnonD-185899, 03 Oct 2013Thank you,i know aready,that issue i also worry 2week liao.... morehi guy4999,here in sandakan, sabah the price also rm 118,final price..about the unremoval battery still no idea how long it will be good..make sure dont use or play the phone while charging,wait untill fully charged 100%..because it can make the battery inflatable(puffed-up@filled with air)that make battery become bad..just opinion...

Because There wasn't a big different between Z and Z1. They say next year flagship will 5.2 inch, 3gb ram and other. So be patient, save for your money.

As I had written here regarding the battery response post.2.67 update I tried reloading the software through p c companion but to no avail as the battery drain rate is same and faster as after the .2.67 update,Sony should consider seriously addressing the matter as users are frequently showing problems of phone overheating and battery drain,I personally believe that the 2300 mAh battery of xperia z is not that low in capacity and power and Sony can provide some suitable solution for it.

now am seriously thinking about z1 since battery capacity is better than z .. shame i loved my z tho.
or shall i wait for a newer flagship next year??

My girlfriend took so many photos with Z in a party last night, very good quality, definitively an improvement with the .67 update. To get the most natural looking photos I turn off superior auto. The scene detection in superior auto works very well but it's overdoing it with processing in some scenes.
I looked at some similar photos I shot with Galaxy S4, the Z is a clear winner but the Galaxy S4 has a superior LED flash, very strong.

kjumar, 04 Oct 2013The battery is draining at a faster rate with .2.67 update ... moreStrange, my Z C6603 has slightly better battery with this update. We probably have different usage patterns, that could be why, but maybe you need a factory reset.

(depend on the games) go for xperia z1. if you use for calling, 1 hour surfing, 1 hour game.....then it will last till you got home for charging
