had this phone for three months now. battery life is excellent, water resistant level is amazing - dropped it in shallow flowing drainage without any problem and even tried in swimming pool. does not hang up a lot but heats up after constant browsing more than two hours. five star for me

This is a really good phone. However, after owning it for exactly 1 month my screen spontaneously cracked and disabled the touch screen while i was watching tv with my phone beside me.

For stamina mode.... go to settings ,,,dn apps dn Go to all dn click eco mode controller dn reset all files..... nd clear data... nd restart the phone

You have one more thing to try! Plug the usb cable and connect with pc. Open Sony PC Companion, make backup of your phone and click upper left corner(probably will show your phone/tablet is up to date) then one small windows will appear and click repair my phone/tablet. Make that procedure and you'll reinstall android 4.2 the same one that you already have. After that restore all your setings and data and then STAMINA mode should work.

Zzzzzzzz...sucks....I hate it because first of all 5" display...What's it ??? They r improving only the length of the phone.It's looks like a bar..poor contrast...Then sound...Worst..Flat quality on both video & audio...Very disappointing...Old launcher...no essential & new generation apps..Only camera is good..I Throw it for a very disappointing second hand rate...

I bought it 2 days before going on vacation and guess what, had to try out the waterproof i was hearing about and yes i dove into a pool with it took pics and vids underwater and still rocking like new, the battery was so-so the first days but it was because of its fist internal full charge so even now after two months of using it heavily the battery goes 2 days sharp! :) other than that, completly satisfied!

vic, 09 Sep 2013so does this phone has a great battery or not?my friend said it's better than S4. I don't own s4, so i am not sure. just heard him said that S4 cannot last one day.

That tactically very shame. And how could this classic, very stylise smartphone cannot support the FLV format and had such a useless Wifi Direct technology on this phone. Either, still wih it LCD screen that has longly cannot be attractive. Sony need to do something with this thing if they still want to compete with georgeously company, Apple and Samsung.

bought xperia a month ago and having trouble hanging it up. if I get a voicemail, I cant hang up the phone. the screen stays black because the sensor wont respond. I went to T-Mobile with the problem and they said that xperia has trouble with this if skype is installed

I purchased a Xperia Z in March. Got wet in my jeans when it rained and went dead. Water supposedly went inside the phone inspite of keeping the caps closed. So long for the water resistance. Went with the complaint to the company and they just refused to do any further investigation saying the caps must ve been left open. Extremely annoying experience with Sony customer care. Never again will I touch a sony phone.

I purchased an Xperia Z in march end. It got wet in water and got damaged inspite of keeping all the caps closed. The company refused to look further on the complaint. Extremely annoying experience. Not a Sony ever again.

hi PeterIT, I did exactly as you said regarding my XZ's stamina mode problem. i discharged the phone and then it turned off automaticaly then i recharged the phone. but still stamina mode does not work accordingly. what should i do ?

My Xperia Z is C6603(LTE), that means have 4G Features. However, I dunno how to use it and I dunno what is 4G Features, can someone tell me?

Not a big fan of the restrictions in viewing angles.
I know fans like it as a privacy viewing thing.
But the colors do wash out more with poor contrasts.
Great if Sony released a model for those that aren't
worried about privacy viewing angles and like normal viewing angles.

Hey...guys Those who are all sony music lovers,I want to tell one important.I think somebody get dissapointed with low volume sound...Here i give one suggestion.
I.e Buy SONY XBA3 headphone & hear the music in TREBLE BOOST mode.Then it will be a mindblowing sound from the SONY....thats the real sound...
