So, why is it a great back to school device? Sony’s Xperia Z has great battery life, which will easily get you through the day and more. It also has small overlays to make multitasking a breeze. Aside from that, it’s a really nice device, and its overall quality is superior over a lot of companies.

Guyz..I really wanna buy this phone.But these bad reviews I get is too much..Dead pixels, DOA, Ineffective water proofing, etc..Will it be worth taking these risks???...plz guyz help!!

1.Go to "Apps" in "Settings" and search for the "Camera" app.
Here's the solution that worked for me:
First he told me to click on "Clear data"; OK that.
Then click on "Force Stop".
2. Restart phone and wait for about 20 seconds.
After checking the camera app the spots had gone!
It Worked for me :-)

Hi All,
Guys i am having a problem in my xperia z. I bought z on march. used for 6months, i am a hard user. now in my camera there are like some 4 to 5 black spots not dots. i thought its a dead pixel but i checked the screen using that service no. but found no problem in display, then i thought it may be dust between the camera sensor and the glass. tapped my phone many times gently but not yet gone. wat is that thing??? do somebody have the same issue. please assist me. I am from INDIA

AnonD-180436, 30 Aug 2013is there someone from sony mobile here ? I'm from Indones... morelocal service centers are not having approval to open and repair any Xperia Z on their own, they have to send it to SONY and get it replaced.

My XZ now has a blank-spot syndrome. It receives no signal although other nearby handset with the same telecommunication provider receives some signal. I have to turn off and on again the Data receiving mode or the Airplane mode and even I have to turn the handset off and on again (it has no restart feature). Is it what 'the best of Sony in smartphone' can offer?

Its water proof design was poorly planned, the phone becomes water proof by just sealing the battery from its removable back cover with a somewhat like a rubber gasket. and the outcome of the review was poor because water gets trap into the screen.
