Bro, the screen is not normal screen, it is dragon tail, do you know the price of a dragontail glass is not as cheap as gorilla glass. If their warranty have including screen glass, then Sony will deficit, even also will backrupt. So please ask the warranty before you use it, it may help you to save your pocket money.

The Sony Xperia Z achieves a DxO Mark score of 61 which means it can only place itself in front of older phones such as the Samsung Galaxy SII or Apple iPhone 4.
However, it is far below the best in class such as the Nokia 808, Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3. In particular, it exhibited a poor performance in low light conditions.

Owned for several months, ok phone, battery life poor, wifi shockingly bad but other than that it had performed ok, until it decided to crack in my pocket! rendering it useless! At this point my experience with Sony and their customer service went downhill fast! As far as I was concerned the screen had cracked during normal use, not dropped, crushed or hit (which they agreed with) and was in as new condition other than a hairline crack, however I was told Any screen damage is chargeable to the customer for repair. So as I understand this the screen is not covered under warranty! Not impressed!
What I find incredibly frustrating is they are happy for you to send your phone to their repair centre for inspection regarding a warranty claim but then tell you a cracked screen, no matter how the damage has occurred is not covered! and then want £242 to repair it or £14.40 to send it back to you!! Scam!! Needless to say I won't be buying a Sony smartphone again and certainly wouldn't recommend them.

two models in xperia z.
1.C6602-2g and 3g compatible,also upgradable with 4.2 jellybeen software.
2.C6603 -2g,3g and 4g compatible.But 4.2 jellybeen version(recently sony announced version) not for this.

berry, 27 Jul 2013okay guys here is what i think , dont go for this phone , t... moremaybe you should sell it and buy another one, be sure it's brand new xz from sony authorize dealer. check the unit first before paying. i think that's the solution.

Iam planning to buy this phone
but there is an annoying thing.... shatter film can get scratches and sony don't recommend us to remove it
so I think there are three solutions
1-live with your xz with scratches
2-put another screen protector on shatter film (bad idea)
3-remove shatter film and sony logo gone (not problem for me) and I don't know what else may happen to do this
any idea... Please reply
