vishu22, 19 Jul 2013Xperia z v/s note 2 -> Z hav better screen (1080p vs 720... morei got replacement sonyxperia z set, which they claim is a new set but to me this set seems to be lighter and less tougher, and quite compressible. i m quite sure that it's plastic bodied instead of my original glass bodied primary set. is it possible. plz help...i don't find a satisfactory answer from sony. they ask me to contact service center and the latter say to ask customer care..... i feel cheated by sony

Hope there is also waterproof smart watch camera phone from Sony like what LG did last 2010. Sony made a bluetooth watch where you need your real smart phone within your range but its not as good as what LG did where you can insert a different sim card to ensure to receive all important calls and messages as well as instantly sending messages and making calls. Its a very useful device for active people who spend their day most on sports like swimming running dancing and other physical activities which I do not understand why only less cellphone manufacturers follow LG with this concept.

When you create a Sony Entertainment Account, put your Country at America, and Region as you like. For me, I pick America and Set Texas as region. Problem solved, the only thing is need you to create an account again.

I do miss the stylus, it was very useful during calls whe I had to write something down. You are right that the audio is much better on the note 2 but the screen is not better. The viewing angles maybe but the clarity and responsivnes is better on the xperia z.
I dont think that native 3G calls are a deal breaker, but its just my opinion, I never use video calls...
On the battery side you are completly right, mine lasted for 2 days on heavy use and still got 30% left.
I got stuck with the xperia z when my note 2 screen shatterd and the phone was insured but vodafone romania dont import it anymore so i got to settle with sony.
I would be hard for me to decide now on one phone, note 2 or xperia z, but i think I'll go for the note 2 just for the battery.

Z hav better 3G speeds (42 mbps vs 21 mbps) ... So now upto ur choice ;-) , goodluck!

I got the phone a mounth ago and I can tell you that it is a great phone.
I had a Note 2 before this that broke and the insurance company exchange it ehit Xperia Z(vodafone romania).
I a pleased to say that the battery lasts from morning to evening with 20-30% left after moderate use on 4G and wireless all day, never turn off data connection.
The screen and overall feel of the phone is better than the Note 2, its much more faster and never laggs.
I would recomend this to other users but not to music fans...I have Beats headfones and they help but with the original headfones the sound is poor, was better on the Note 2.
Another problem I have, maybe more of an issue, is that the wireless antenna is verry weak, I only get full bars when I'm very close to the router's antenna and from 3-4 meter away it starts droping bars.
Call quality is great and cell reception is good, frustrated that I have it on 4G and it drops very often but that Vodafone's foult :)
