advice, 06 Jul 2013some phones have excellent viewing angles,some good others ... moreHonestly is this ur replay :S even though i will totally agree with u about what u said
but am not talking about the colors am not watching colors am watching a motion picture which mean an accurate colors without a good picture means a miss a total riot a kid paintimg without any meanings
i can share my xz with one to 2 friends without any issues more than that it will be like a pack of wolves eating a piece of burger :P
i have all of the respect for the samsung marketing team who changed the wide viewing angles from a negatvi feature to a positive and a must feature but the truth is it is useless in every way u look at it

AnonD-112991, 06 Jul 2013The issue here is u not understanding .. The viewing angles... moresome phones have excellent viewing angles,some good others poor.
so if your phone has a poor viewing angle what are the pros and cons?
the pros :u have more privacy when u r using your phone and u don't want other to spy on u.
the cons :when u r watching a movie on your phone naturally u can't keep the same position all the time so there will be tilting from time to time,in this situation poor viewing angle will ruin the the fun as the colors start to wash out with minimal movement,while in phones with excellent viewing angles u will till enjoy the movie regardless your movements.
when u want ton show your friends videos or images they will take your phone from your hands so they can watch clearly while in phones with excellent viewing angles u can still keep the the phone your hand and watch with your friends.
i know people who do not like watching videos on there phones and they are using privacy screen protectors ,some even using mirror screen protectors.

tell me 3 reasons how can i use them in a practical way
and lets talk with a logical way of thinking
the new features of the s4
the ones where u can use ur eyes to stop play and controll the screen does it work with the wide viewing angles or does it require u to be facing it directly or u can use it with a wide viewing angels
when u r reading a website or writing a message is it comfortable to do it when u r viewing ur screen in a wide viewing angle
when u watch a movie instead of colors do the picture look clear while watching it with a wide viewing angles
u r using a 2D screen which only have x.y virtical and horizon dimintion which means in every optical theory u will change the x.y values when u change the viewing angles the more wide the more lose in the values
so it is impossible to se the picture as it is from the wide viewing angles as the value of the virtical or horizon value of the picture will decrease when the value of the viewing angles will increase
try it ur self with any picture when look at it from the side even if rhe colors are great the picture it self will look awkward

... morejust to add on the washed screen issue; I mean I do not get it why other users wants to have their own personal phone be viewable in many angles. Aren't the contents in your phone that you are viewing or accessing supposed to be private? You do not want other people around you to see your financial account details or persomal emails or other messages.
We just have to respect the reason behind the design.

Xperia Z is Glass case from front and back and and most of all SLEEK unlike other phones in market..that chipset is really heating up .. is like pouring a hot water into a mug.. I got Xperia Z SO-02E since feb..I figure it out how to stop the heat
the reason why is heating it up:
Game Applications
Mobile Data( Most likely on this} LTE and 3g net
Solution for Overheat like 43c up... I think my phone reached to 47c which is I need to shutdown the device.. thanks to Android overheat control build in the phone OS.
Shutdown your phone for 5mins
while browsing/games and charging open your air-con or u need to be closer to a fan if you are In a tropical country
don't leave your phone overcharge like 8hours-10hours
I love my Xperia Z and
I Will replace my XZ with Xperia i1 this holiday...
Honami is Coming and with Snap dragon 800 and 20mp camera and triluminous display will burn my hand..

do u remeber the old black berry bold with the super viewing angles or the samsung umniah?
They had a war upon them because the wide angles
samsung marketing team made it instead of a problem a feature and the kids like u just followed saying oh i can share my screen with my friends and i can watch a movie for 90 degrees
tell me another reason why should i have such a feature in the amoled devices
lets talk to in the terms u understand better
the reviews .. It is will known that the amoled will never produce colors as accurate as the lcd
and by the way mr advice is putting the htc one in between to make himself a justified person but actually u r a samsung follower so be a man and talk about what u rly like
stop talking about 2 opposite devices with different hardwares just to make ur self a middle person
in the other hand there is nothing perfect in this life but there is something make me feel with satisfaction and unlike like any thing sony satisfied us with their products and it is clear that samsung satisfied u with few cents otherways u would stick over their where the ppl those are intrested in ur plastic client would come

AnonD-58007, 06 Jul 2013I am from India.Just got update(C 6602,JB 4.2.2)Same here I just got my C6603 updated to JB 4.2.2 last July 5, 2013.
The most interesting update is that we now have an online software that is capable to locate our phone and perform other phone activated new features if we happen to misplace it or worst, lose it.

I would suggest that when you are to use the unit with an extensive graphics and processing requirement, remove any protective case accessory/accessories covering the phone or at least the back of the phone to allow the excessive heat to dissipate through the designed back glass plate/cover of the phone to let the unit cool or manage by its own self-monitoring thermal sensor and drivers.

i don't like the xperia z ,in my opinion htc one and galaxy s4 are much much better.
if u noticed some lag after a firmware upgrade try to do a factory reset.

So after that i did not see my post. gsmarena said that when you are registered, it will only take a minute. Im not aware that my first post was already posted. I really sorry for that.. gabby, 06 Jul 2013my z gets quite warm, do u guys have same experience.Its normal for it to warm since the device is using much power to accommodate functions. Installing a task killer will help. Apps running in background will add power consumption and get the battery warm. If it overheats, Don't worry, sony had put an emergency shut down to their device. So when your device shut down automatically while using, means that the temperature is high.
