Great phone with great looks , performance . I loved the water proof feature of this phone .. It really made my holiday . I took videos n snaps in heavy rains in middle of the ocean. Love this phone .. After a l long time Sony has launched a great phone ... Battery life could be better . Great screen .. But when u look at s4 screen then this screen will not look good. But great phone over all .. Lacks gestures which samsung s3 n s4 has ... Sony please work on those technologies ...

Make yourself a favor by not buying this phone.
Its water and dust proof, but not brake proof glass.
please read sony official forums the official representative tells that the glass in not break proof and we have not said that the glass is not break proof anywhere in the website.
I bought it and the screen broken within a month.
I just kept the phone in my jeans pocket and its broken.
no warranty since its a physical damage, not only me google this and you will find tons of people facing this problem.
This phone doesn't have gorilla glass.
A SONY Store(Official) people are asking $300 to fix the broken screen and after fix the warranty will be void since its a physical damage.
SONY Never Again!!!!

I am experiencing a small issue in the camera of this phone. There's a small spot, a dust or a burn like on all my photographs. This is on the top left corner. Is anyone in this forum experiencing the same. Has anyone got a solution. Please respond.

I do not know why people are complaining about its not so clear screen while looking at an angle. Who works on the phone through an angle. I would say its a blessing in disguise, that no one can understand what am i doing on my phone while peeping in through an angle. Overall its a very strong and beautiful phone with an excellent screen.

I wonder then why people are complaining that water enter the unit and its soul fly to heaven.
Moreover, Sony after sales service staff is so hesitant to do this water resistance test in front of customers, if they can do it in commercial, why not when customer ask for demo that too after purchase and in presence of there technicians ! Are they scared that it may fail the H2O resistance ? That means they don't have confidence in there product.
I suppose that permission is only given to Katrina Kaif. God knows what happened to that mobile unit after the commercial ;)

AnonD-157552, 21 Jun 2013I would say SONY is running a scam in the name of xperia Z.... morexperia z is truly a waterproof phone, I had tested it in swimming pool and it proof the phone was real wter resistnt... the gme graphics is good bcause it has the best gpu by adreno... high quality pictures and videos playbck bcause the phone is enhance by bravia engine 2, the pict is more vivid... the phone had been in water for more than 10 times and its stiil in good condition, its also had drop accdntly many times and its dont broke but it my scratch if the phone has no cover... I speak based on my xperiance and I hve tasted the phone many times and the SONY hve proof the xperia z is the best...
