the design depends on the taste and the build quality is great as u say but the back aluminum cover is easily scratchable
i removed the screen protectors which sony provided for FREE not to prevent the scratches ot to enhance the colors but as a shatter proof
the one viewing angels is better which is not suitable 4 me
the beats audio helps the loud speakers which i tested but didn't test the headphones but the xz is perfect 4
the rounded design is not better in my idea which i prefer to keep TO MY SELF
the only model available in most countries is the 16 gb model
the battery performance is the same go and read the reviews
and the camera is not better it is better in the night ONLY
the processor speed is not important as long as i will provide me with great experience and as i said it is just a selling point the marketing teams created and have no effect in the real life usage
in the other hand the htc one is the only other option i was looking to buy instead of xz but when i balanced them both the xz convinced me more
i go out there on my own looking for the best phone for me not the best phone in the market
if i find out the the old nokia 3310 is better for me i would gladly buy it and use it
this is what the smart consumers should do not just blindly buy something depending on others reviews and ideas

one has a better design and better build quality
one has smaller size with hand friendly rounded edges
one has better screen with no xperia z obligatory screen protector
one has better sound quality (loud speaker and headsets).
one has faster processor
one has infra red port
one has larger internal storage
one has better battery performance
one has much better camera although it uses only 4 mega pixel camera.
but don't get mad xperia zalso has positive points:
xperia z has better price
xperia z is dust and water resistant.
xperia z has micro sd card slot.

advice, 15 May 2013gsmarena and many other tech websites proved that the camer... moreand samsung worshipers should just keep silence for humanity sake .. i'm sure u spent the last 24 hours copying from some articles because it is obvious that ur ADVICE is a total miss .. to be honest the real samsung innovation is creating someone like u .. i never argued with moto or htc or any other brand just samsung fans arguing with all the other brands fans bashing them blindly hanging t any slight imperfection calling it a fault or what ever u want to call t if u are thinking even for a bit which i start to believe u r not .. u will stop repeating like a machine copying what others say .. i am sure u never touch or even saw the gs4 that u r protecting so much as it is ur girlfriend or a part from ur family .. we admitted to the ppl that there is a better phones in the tech side thats the benchmark only like the s4 and some are rivals in the colors like the one or the optimus the speakers sound is better in the htc one but bring me one just one balanced phone in every aspect the software the battery the sound quality the build quality the design the hardware along with the software services and availability plus a great price .. i dare u to name one phone other than my BELOVED XZ

one thing is clear that no one can beat sony technology. The internet speed in sony set are fastest all over the worls. Battery life is not good.

Guys, this is my first Android Phone and I have a really stupid question...how do I multitask? I was using a Blackberry earlier and if I wanted to switch between the Browser, and say my e-mail, all I had to do was to hold down the menu key until a list of currently running apps would show up and I could select which app I wanted to go next.
Please help!

advice, 15 May 2013gsmarena and many other tech websites proved that the camer... morego and learn something before commenting for such inovative companies. Every company gives you the latest firmware to improve the performance of their product it doesn't mean that there products are not good and not working. GO and buy samsung and feel the headache.

3. white balance
4. world time clock widget
5. tool widget redesigned
6. black task bar
7. camera launch slightly faster compare to my wife on the previous version
8. pulse notification light
9. stamina mode led fix with explaination of stamina mode
10. international keyboard look different as well
Did it mentioned about OVER-SATURATED colors that only exist in AMOLED?
White balance setting is for Sammy users that already used to OVER-SATURATED colors~
Let them enjoy the "BENEFITS" of AMOLED...

guys please check the image quality posted in the specifications...u will realise the quality itself....it has been a disappointment for me in my xperia u as well...its below par than in comparison with samsung galaxy s duos...

xperia z is very beautiful design based and latest smart phone in the world. i using this phone. i am satisfied to use it. this application is very updated and spontaneously this phone is the world best phone of the smartphone world.

I wasn't talking to u at first second just compare my answer to urs i said go out there and compare them urself which one is more suitable for u and before that i said the gs4 benchmark is better than the xz i gave the most logical answer and u just jumped over to say s4 just like happy feet or a smurf mmm the one with the glasses suite u the best thank goodness i sold my old gs3 before i got brainwash and be in ur position :S i really pity u guys

gsmarena and many other tech websites proved that the camera of xperia z can't compete with htc one or galaxy s4,even can't compete with gs3 camera.
also gsmarena and the others discovered the color issues of the xperia z screen,some talked about the low contrast ,others talked about Warm shades of color on the Xperia Z look a little oversaturated (yellow color is closer to red). With blue in most cases quite trouble: instead of pure blue Xperia Z displays it closer to purple. With gray on Sony is also not okay - it is yellow. The depth of the "black" is not as rich as that of Galaxy S IV.
when i tried to mention these facts here to help people to choose their phones,some sony fan boys started war against me ,saying that all the famous tech websites are paid by samsung ,and there was nothing wrong with the xperia z camera and screen colors.
luckily today sony itself released a firmware update that tweaked the imaging algorithm and now the camera samples look much better.
as well as re-calibrated screen colors and white balance settings.
so this mean sony admitting that there was really something wrong with the phone.
i am really happy that sony released these fixes ,because it proved that i was right all the time.
sony promoters should be ashamed .

the phone is just simple and easy to use. The only problem it get over heat when over use.
