ada, 12 May 2013guys don'nt buy this phone it does'nt have floating touch l... morewho cares about floating touch. tft screen side view not clear. at least only me can see and read my phone. not for public. yes, flash light is low compare to xperia t light. but advantage is the elegant designed of xperia z and its water and dust resistance. sometimes i put the phone inside the jacket and when it rained. i dont bother it get wet. that's are the advantages of xperia z. regarding heat up, every smartphone generate heat. i dont know what phone and brand dont heat up. even old cellphone without cpu do heat up.

Z display is amazing ( at least u got natural crisp colors and not cartoonish colors)... Z camera is better at nigh... Design and build quality is way better in z... Besides the water resistance feature ( killer feature)

this xperia z is the most beautifull and the most efficien pones i have ever seen i think they should be placed on the top because they r more beautiful and very good then iphone

guys don'nt buy this phone it does'nt have floating touch like S4 and TFT screen side view is not clear and camera is good at day time but at night its very bad because of its small flashlight

JustAnotherConsumer, 11 May 2013I think gsmarena should do something about these "User... moreman i just found a human being who can use the reason finally there is still hope thank u my GOD i will tell u few things about the xperia z and u can go to another phones pages and see what suites u better am i wrong in what i just said?
the phone is sexy really the most beautiful phone i ever used the glass is durable though i removed the pre installed shatter proof film from both sides and installed a thinner ones which is more like prints resistance, the phone heat up to a warm level and its totally acceptable around 30C degrees never had an issues with any lags or apps every thing is smooth
the software will i really like it better than the other fully optimized androids will that is just me
the screen are superior aside from the viewing angels which is as every one say is amazingly horrible but that is a great feature for me
the battery hold up for a day with a fairly heavy usage like i have my 3g opened the whole day but never used a wifi or a bluetooth outside my home a lot of whats app and facebook and the important email sending and i really like to watch some anime episodes in my tea break ;p i read the usual news as well
about the camera for my office photos and my hanging out is perfect and smooth
the updates of sony mobiles are slow i admit it but they come eventually am already used to them hehe
the usb on the go works perfect and the sound is not loud but the quality is superb
the details while using the headphones are in another league i never compared it to the new dogs but am sure they are just perfect
in overall the phone hardware is not outdated in the way its totally useless its just the technology is fast but there is no support for this technology
the s4 killer is the 600 the 600 killer is the exynos 5 the e5 killer is the 800 and they are all in less than a year not to forget intel atom and nv tegra
we are waiting for the new 4.2 update which will improve the camera even more and the over all performance will have a great boost as well
go and chick it in any show room and put in mind what are u looking in ur next smartphone
and sry u were right this is an opinion section not a battle field one

advice, 11 May 2013gsmarena (this website)said that htc one and galaxy s4 are ... moreanother THEY SAID don't drive me crazy with ur stick to the plan thing even the GOD gave us the freedom to THINK and choose for our selves what is best to us and here u r again and again repeating the same sorry story go and play with with ur goddess the s4 and what about the tv's u seems that u spent some time searching google right bravo but the as u said it is a mode that mean they only change the brightness with an auto fixed values to make u feel that there is some change if u r a gs4 owner just grab ur soap and go to any electronic shop and start comparing the mod with what u said about ur tv research and tell me honestly what u did found even though at this point a doubt that someone who cant think for him self will really be honest specially the samsung fan who can do anything for his cause

Abbas, 11 May 2013Poor display , TFT screen oooh abbas i assume u didn't read like my friend advice what all the reviews said the washed colors are from the EXTREME view angles not from the NORMAL viewing angle which is looking directly into it, anyways someone like u i would strongly recommend not to buy this phone because it is totally inferior to your majesty and thnx for sharing ur opinion

the problem with samsung fans is the following:
first they do a lot of copy paste from their main server
second they keep jumping from point to another once u cornered them(and they only have 3 or 4 points they keep repeating)
third they dont think before they talk
fourth they keep exaggerating once an issue surfaced
fifth and the most important when u r arguing with one of them in a matter that is not even related to technology lets say i said to one of them the guitar is an amazing music instrument they jump directly and say no the samsung galaxy have the smart features or i love the Ferrari they would say the octa core are faster

so if you are one of the people who like to use plasma tv's or LED tv's you can use the standard mode which will give u the famous vivid colors ,but if u r still using LCD tv's u can use movie mode or adobe mode which they give u the most accurate colors near the color accuracy of the iphone 5,but either way with the super amoled screen of the galaxy s4 ,u will still get the deepest blacks and the best viewing angles,covered with gorilla glass 3,with no need to the obligatory scratchable screen protector of the xperia z.
please stop mislead the people with the same link u r givivng since one month back.
but if u don't know the difference between different tv screens i advice u to leave your room ,take some fresh air and visit some tv shops.

I am so fed up with trolls...blah bla blah! Stop your whining, all phones with heavy duty processors heat up, your computer heats up! The point of that is to keep the innards cool and dissipate the heat to the outside, if this does not happen then the phone is likely to overheat. Get over yourselves, ignorami!

I think gsmarena should do something about these "User opinion" section. Reading all these rage/spam/argue comments only makes me want to bang my head against the wall. Nothing informative and in any way helpful to a potential new buyer of the discussed phone.
If I buy XZ, it's going to be my 5th SE/Sony, but not because I'm a freaking fanboy/girl. There is no perfect phone and there never will be one. It's the matter of what you want and need. I crossed out Samsung long time ago because it doesn't suit my needs. Thought about HTC One, but it's still not available in my country and when it will be, it's going to be at least 1000 American dollars (and even more).
So, instead of having pointless fanboy fights, you could actually try and help a possible future buyer to decide based on true facts and experience. But obviously, I'm asking too much.
