You keep bashing Samsung and wearing Sony even if there is no real comments to reply to. I see Maybe one or two Samsung trolls every few pages. The rest are not even comparing them. It's a specific opinion or feature and 20 leave comment after comment on plastic this, troll, that blah blah.

You're quite jealous of Samsung and it's hilarious. P's if calling keep a Samsung fan for pointing out the obvious is the best you got then better think longer

Which glass is truly scratch proof?
Do you guys even understand the definition of scratch resistant?

Less prone to scratches. Not immuned to scratches. No glass is this world is immuned to scratches. IPhone 4s was scratch resistant yet they scratched.

you don't appreciate this phone then don't get it. Get your plastic toy phone whilst we can appreciate this lovely device ourselves. Thanks.

Just don't care stupid people comments...
The phone get scratched easily it's because of the layer of shatter-proof sheet (The glass on SONY Xperia Z is scratch-resistance)~
The scratch is on the shatter-proof sheet not on the glass (How many times I need to explain?!)...
You can put another layer of screen protector on top of the shatter-proof sheet~
It wont affect the touch sensitivity...

U dnt need a specific software, Xperia come along its own software which will help u either to cloud with ur PC or to tether in order to use ur phone as modem.
                              You do have options
Once u you plug ur phone to ur PC you will be asked if you want to load ''PC COMPANION'' on your PC, click ''Yes'' then you will able to cloud all your data...follow steps by steps
Or you can go to settings-connectivity-tethering: 2 option you choose either by USB or Wireless then you pair both devices I mean ur Phone and your PC...then you can Use it as a modem

amr ashraf, 16 Apr 2013sure i will add screen protector, but why sony states that ... moreThe Xperia z ships with a screen protector already on the screen that's why it's scratches easy but you can just take it off and replace with another protector, if you want to protect the rear and sides then why don't you do what I do with mine and buy silicone skin, this acts as a bumper and protects the whole the phone from drops and scratches and with a screen protector on the phone as well it will be damage proof

Finally got the phone yesterday. I was a bit worried about the bad reviews. But I have to admit this phone exceeded my expectations.
Great screen, good camera, the battery is better thn my ex arc, heating? wtf nothing beyond normal heat, you won't even notice it. Sound? It is not bad as some are claiming, it is more thn enough.
                                      Also tested it in water.
Only con is the speaker position.
