i am a sony user ive been using sony for about 8yrs till now and i am willing next week to get the zperia Z..now for my question can u tell me wat are the diadvantages of the phone because there should some cons of the mobile so can u just tell me wat are they if u know them?...i am expecting a good reply from u soo please let me be WOW when i read your reply :D...

and the exynos octa is a good achievement, because it is a battery saver chip... if the snapdragon 600 alone does 63 hours battery endurance on the SG4, imagine what battery saving chip exynos octa can do? ...and and what battery endurance did XZ get again? lmao

and i should get a life? by what? doing what you do? going in blogsites and telling people to get a life? dammm kids these days lol

SG3 was an ugly phone of 2012, why did people buy it instead of other better looking phones like HTC ONE X, XPERIA S or even LG optimus G? what ever happened to the design being very important?

I think its obvious that features, and basic needs such as sdCARD support, removable battery aswell as big batteries wins over design alone.

I got it yesterday and I sold it today because it got very hot in front where I put my ear when I use wifi and start downloading ,,, Sony need to fix this .

Design is one of the most important part with specs!
And those who says design wont matter, they just want to defend their point!
Well everywhere i go, i would like people to look at my phone again and again... And u knw what, s3 sold good coz at that time the competition was not at all this big.. And s4 will sell good just coz of popularity of s3!
But just look at xz.. It can steal any show and catch all the eyes! It is beauty with brain.. What else one need?

A month ago there are a voting at xperiablog for a reason to buy xz, and guess what, processor had a lowest vote, and i think most people buy xz simply because its design, waterproof and multimedia capability for a real life usages, xz processor is doing good enough.

And for mobile thing, im sure processor competition will not run too far anymore, they will focus on how to make more battery friendly processor rather than a speed, imho.

What point to buy fone with latest processor ? in a month there will always got a new one.
Even Exynos octa is not the best now because a phone with s800 ready to enter the market.

SGS4 = Plastic Bag
If someone that don't know much about modern smartphones look at these two phones~

If that fella look at SONY Xperia Z~
He will know that is a new design modern smartphone...
If he look at SGS4~
High possible he will think that is the old SGS3 and you need to clarify...

If you call s4 pro,2GB RAM as old specs, get ready to call s4 specs as old specs as well... Having s600 doesn't mean it has the latest specs... s600 jus a renamed & clocked-up version of s4 pro... Of course s4 has 2GB RAM like Z...
And average camera...??? GOD... Sammy phones always have the bad cams... Go see the comparison of S3, note-2 & Z through out the internet... Z kicks in their ass without breakin' a sweat...
Also you call octa-core as future-proof... This proves that you've ZERO knowledge about octa-core... It's still quad-core only... 4 cores are only takin' care of CPU performance, other 4 cores will take care of battery performance... You're one of those blinded people who'll fall for sammy's gimmicky moves... Educate yourself before you start talkin' rubbish... The things you've pointed out shows you know NOTHING... Except battery, s4 bows infront of Z... Of course S4 is one of the worse lookin' phones, even worse than cheap chinese models...!!!

Review sites are real users to, but what they do is actually test the phone, measure, time and test out what phones can do... where as your friends or other people will not test out the phone and use it on what ever apps they use, games they play and how long they use their phones for... so the result is inconsistant so its different for everyone... review sites are more accurate because they actually measure and time everything and use the same methods, so every phone gets a fair result...

and i have used XZ for a short while and the good is:
- design
- build quality
- water/dust resistance

the rest is average or worst when compared to other flagship 2013 phones.

hey i am using sony experia ion, the mobile is good but battery backup is problem and one more think is we cannot pause video while recording time. I'd like to buy sony xperia Z its battery backup is good but i want know about movie pause option is there or not plz answer..

AnonD-107005, 27 Mar 2013was waiting for S4 but as usual a crap design, with no inov... moreactually it only run max 4 cores at same time. Octacore sure is gimmick and for marketing purpose only, it did not make too far away than XZ & One.
I wonder why Samsung want use 4cores for lower processing. Even Tegra using only 1 core to doing a light job. And still, they say the chip is quadcore, not 5cores

coming to specifications 4g is new here and it is dust proof and water proof and the remaining all h/w and s/w are same here.some wat stylish.the cost is too much here.

Why would i care about xperia sola floating touch? samsung obviously made it better in theres, and if samsung puts the best features in their phones, and copies them from nokia, iphone, sony then why would samsung phones be bad? it would be called the 'best' phone since it has everything people want, and your sony XZ has what? 2012 specs? average camera and bad screen? bad software updates?

And yess octa core does matter, not only for apps and future proof, but for battery, snapdragon 600 version allready scored 63 hours and xperia Z scored what? 48 hours? now imagine octaCORE with batery saver chipset?... LOL... and they even said stamina mode did not made much difference with battery life in XZ, and here you are as a fanboy saying XZ has a good battery life? what proof do u have? atleast i have several professional websites to say S4 has better battery life than XZ ROFL

Oh and compare samsungs software updates and sony updates? what lies are u gonna say about that one? Xperia S hasnt even got jellybean yet LOL
